"That's the end to Minnesota Nice!" my Norwegian husband exploded upon hearing Minnesota Governor Walz banished 25,000 Trump supporters to a cold field in Rochester, MN.
But nothing stops hardy Minnesotans from going out to meet their beloved President and nothing stops President Trump from greeting his people.
As a beautiful gold-and-magenta Minnesota sunset kissed the sky, the Beast whisked President Trump straight from Airforce One to the non-dictator-sanctioned, "illegal" crowd of 25,000 banished from the approved rally area.
And we loved him for it. "He's always a class act," I told Michael.
President Trump took his time too. In a big "Eff You" to Governor Walz, President Trump greeted them first. Standing in the cold for hours, warmly wrapped in layers, nothing stops a MAGA Minnesotan from saying "thank you" to their President. They drove hundreds of miles, waving Trump and American flags and they wouldn't let little petty dictators like Governor Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison take away their Constitutional right to peacefully assemble.
Only after saying "hello" to the banished, did President Trump return to the "250 and not a body more" area to deliver his remarks. He didn't cut it too short either. We got the whole enchilada with plenty of his trademark going-off-the-teleprompters which, frankly, are the best parts of President Trump's speeches anyway!
"You, the American people, are my only 'Special Interest'," he said. Frankly, the cheering sounded like more than 250 people.
"So Minnesota...this is it. This is the history of our nation. This is a very, very big moment in the history for our nation....Remember what your governor did. It's a horrible thing that they did. Your state and your country depend on you...you have my loyalty, that you know...
"I want to thank you, God bless you, God bless Minnesota and God Bless America!"
Governor Walz, you effed up. Sure, we're Minnesota Nice and you trespassed on it. You've pushed us too far. When you're up for re-election in 2022, I suggest making retirement plans. Your time as a little dictator is up. We will not forget.
I think that trick may have just won him the state.
If the gathering is within the security zone around AF1, it could be deemed as federal territory, so MN Rats can kiss arse.
Watched this! A different Trump. He was POd. God bless him.
Governor will pay.

Your far-left Dem Attorney General, and your Dem Governor tried to shut down our rally, silence the people of Minnesota, and take away your freedom of assembly. They thought we would cancel but I said NO WAY, I will NEVER abandon the people of Minnesota!
This is what I admire about the Trump campaign—the President is _earning_ this victory, and honoring his supporters.
_That_ is how it is supposed to be done.

He’s like Paul bunyan.
Big DJ Trump socks Walz on the jaw!

Awesome! Confused though. It says 25,000 twice and 250. A bit confused on the number of people.
I know it’s too late, but one idea would be to hold a rally just a few feet inside the state line, while the rest of the attendees stand on the other side. Would have made for interesting optics.
Only after saying “hello” to the banished, did President Trump return to the “250 and not a body more” area to deliver his remarks.
I’d been anxiously, curiously waiting to see how this would evolve. No way would the President of the United States, CinC let either of the petty little POS shut down this rally.
He won a lot of votes today in Minnesota.
Hats off...well played !
This got Trump Minnesota...
