The rallies are free local media advertising. They generate stories for days before and wall to wall coverage same day. Trump doesn’t have the TV ad budget Biden does so free media is his fuel.
That is the biggest benefit. The 15,000 at the rally would have voted for him anyway but the free media is very valuable.
