So Murkowski votes no on the vote, but has stated she will vote yes on Barrett once the vote is authorized.
Collins? We’ll see.

Never let this go down the memory hole.

Who was the last GOP-nominated judge for the SCOTUS who received at least 75 votes for confirmation?

Either we get rid of the RINO trash or start a new party. Perhaps all the Republicans involved in the Hunter Biden fiasco will clear the way.

Murkowski is a bald-face liar... She said she would vote FOR this nomination... alas, she lied (nothing new).

GP has the same lack of editors as the legacy media.
As the good folks from Alabama will tell you, AL is the abbreviation for Alabama. AK is the abbreviation for Alaska.
I imagine Alabamans have any interest in Murkowski as a senator.

In fact, judging by Roberts political leanings since he has been CJ, I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t side with the left most of the time from here on out.

Murkowski will vote to confirm, but she did not believe the nomination should take place prior to the election. So she acknowledged that she was outnumbered on that opinion of timing, so would vote the confirmation on the merits of ACB’s obvious qualifications.

Collins is from Maine (ME), not Minnesota (MN). Thats two errors in one sentence.

My head hurts from trying to keep track of Murkowski and all the goings-on. However, in the end it sounds like the overall news is going to be good, so I guess there’s that to it.
Will be so glad when all of this hoopla is over, though.

John Roberts was the last for either party. 78-22.
To: TheBattman
It was not significant, like when Sen. McCain betrayed us with his vote to prolong ObamaCare (ACA). She had already signalled that she was against the vote prior to the election and thus voted against proceeding. Everyone knew with Sen. Romney there were 51 votes to proceed. However, she signaled she will vote yes tomorrow, which lessens the threat of a primary challenge, so look for at least 52 Yea votes tomorrow to confirm Amy Coney Barrett as a Supreme Court Justice.
