Thought I'd report what I've observed in Manhattan today.
Early voting started and at one particular location, on the Upper East Side, the line to vote has encircled the entire building from around 10 a.m. until now - so, two street and two avenue blocks, entirely. Yes, there is "social distancing" but this is unbelievable (someone said it takes about 5 hours to vote). On the assumption that the voting pattern for the neighborhood holds, one has to wonder what is motivating these people, their candidate (really??) or pure hatred of POTUS? In any event, I did not expect this.
By the way, as I recall, the UES of Manhattan was one of the few locations in Manhattan where de Blasio (Kaiser Wilhelm, the Turd) lost.
How do you know they are not voting for Trump?
Bet you couldnt trust the exit poll there.
The Upper East Side does not want rioting. These people summer in the Hamptons and on the Jersey Shore. Mantoloking and Bay Head. They might hate Trump but they are not enjoying watching whats happening to their City.
I do not know, obviously. Would be nice if they are but the last time I saw anything close to this was in 2012. As I said, the historic pattern for the neighborhood is dominantly Democrats (de Blasio was the exception and I believe I know why).
For sure!
I hope you are right and must remember to look up how this particular neighborhood votes on election night or shortly thereafter...
Up here in liberal Westchester there are some pretty long lines- which is surprising. There have never been lines waiting to vote around here. The most i’ve seen was 2008 when the lemmings were running off the cliff to vote for obama. Even then it was a 10 minute wait.
deBlasio put some really bad people in a few upper eastside hotels.
And for the first time these ‘elites’ had child sexual predators and rapists, and drug addicts living in THEIR neighborhoods.
It’s easy to be ‘oh so tolerant’ of the homeless and criminals when the damage they do is to others. Much harder when the damage they do is being done to you and yours...
I don’t care if they stay liberals as long as they don’t leave that hellhole and come to Florida to make OUR state a hellhole.
Really....these people are stirred into action by Demented Joe?
I do not believe that.
Big line for voting in the early afternoon at the NYU early voting location. Mostly adults, not students.
No doubt in my mind most of the voters on line at the NYU voting location are voting for Revoltin’ Joe.
Nothing surprising. Expecting NYC be be significantly more Republican in 2020 is unwise.
I wonder if those folks have seen dementoJoe in action:

Tells a union guy that he’s full of $h!t, when union guy asks about protecting his (union guy’s) job and second amendment rights.
PedoJoe goes on to ask “what do you need 100 rounds for?”
Most likely scared, brainwashed NY Times reading Libs practicing safetyism by voting early.....even my boss, who is a big guy, and voting for Trump, is afraid to walk around outside without a mask because he doesn’t want people to be mad at him....New Yorkers are by far the biggest COVID wimps!.....I love giving dagger stares to the masked old ladies who jump out of my way when they see my maskless mug coming in their direction.....to paraphrase Pauline Kael “I don’t know one person who doesn’t wear a mask at all times”
Antifa, BLM and unrestrained communism are the gift that keeps giving.
Before the China “plague” and the riots, New Yorkers would have thought they had every reason to vote for Biden. But now? Let’s see what happens.
They have read four years of trash in the New York Times.
Yes, MOTIVATED they are,
Personally, I would think most people would be motivated by Biden’s hidden life.
Hey, but they're "New York tough!"
Oh wait...
President Trump may not win the popular vote in New York but I bet he does better than he did in 2016. GO TRUMP GO
You’re in the belly of the beast, the most liberal and political place on earth. Their hatred of trump would register on the Richter scale. Long lines there seem very normal to me.
