Absolutely. If Trump just starts asking Joe questions, what are they going to do? Cut his mike each time he is given the the chance to answer some other question which Trump then ignores?
I agree. Imagine what people would think if the moderator cut off the President's microphone for virtually the entire debate because she didn't like his answers. Just keep mentioning aspects of Hunter's problems and see if they are stupid enough to silence the President of the United States during a presidential debate.

I was thinking that, too. It would show everyone that the media does censor if Biden is allowed to speak but they cut off Trump’s microphone every time he speaks.It would look like something out of Russia. People would be curious about what Trump tried to say.That would be the story.

Agreed. They also can’t cut his microphone fast enough for a few words at the end of each of Trump’s 2 minute segments.
IMHO, a FAIR panel should agree when to cut the mics. Say, three moderators must agree, and press three cut-off buttons connected “in series”. One or two indicator-lights would tell the contestants their mic(s) was cut. Equal time should be considered.
