Joe Buck and Troy Aikman were caught on a hot mic mocking the military pregame flyover:
TROY AIKMAN: Thats a lot of jet fuel just to do a little flyover. JOE BUCK: Thats your hard-earned money and your tax dollars at work! AIKMAN: That stuff aint happening with [a] Kamala-Biden ticket. Ill tell you that right now, partner.
Well, Aikman may have a point if Biden makes it across the finish line.
And in good time, you guys won’t be flying around to ball games either.
Troy and Buck are one of the many reasons I quit NFL.
That’s not gonna be good for anybody.
Bolshevik Biden.
Yeah and they get to ride in the back of the bus.
I can’t stand Joe Buck.
you couldn’t script a more perfect way to ruin a business than the NFL, MLB, Etc has done the past year or so-
If you asked me in February if there was any chance I Wouldn’t be Watching the NFL this year, I’d have said
“they’d have to do something Incredibly stupid beyond what I can imagine for me not to watch”
They did it :)
It wasn’t easy, but they tried and they tried and tried until finally I couldn’t and may never again give a flying #### about the NFL.
I didn’t say football. But the NFL.
Start a new league. The players won’t be the best at first...but it’s a great chance, if done right, to grab a lot of viewers.
It can be the Parler.com of football :)
but the pros....no way anymore....
we got hooked on "Heartland" that was talked about on a FR thread....137 episodes so we're set for a while.
I doubt Aikman is a Biden supporter. I think he was a Bush supporter. Sounds like he’s saying Biden/Harris are anti-military.
Creeps!
LOL 137 will do it!
I might try that one.
I need a binger!
I have a low attention span so something’s gotta grab me quick.
Like 5 minutes into the first episode of The Sopranos when he knocks the guy over with a car and beats him :)
Makes me think of 1980 when Roger Staubach was working a Dallas Cowboys game for CBS. In the presidential debate that week between Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan, Carter claimed that his teenaged daughter Amy’s greatest fear was nuclear proliferation.
When the play-by-play man asked Staubach to give him a report on the Cowboys’ game strategy, Roger jumped on the cue like it was a wide open receiver. “The other day I talked to my daughter Amy (he actually had one) and she told me the Cowboys’ greatest fear was the bomb.”
Liberal CBS suspended Staubach for a few weeks.
There doesn’t seem to be many patriotic people in major league sports nowadays. Times sure have changed.
Buck’s father was the best football play-by-play guy ever..
Henryetta Oklahoma’s finest. Just a has been that hardly ever was.
