Steve Scully got a clear vote of confidence last Friday, from a host of popular Republicans the morning after a tweet from his Twitter account sparked an outcry in the political media.
Fox News Host Chris Wallace, Fox News analyst Karl Rove, former Trump White House press secretary Sean Spicer, former chairman of the RNC Frank Fahrenkopf, came to Steve Scully's defense.
These comments did not age well, after Steve Scully admitted to lying.

The only one I am surprised at is Spicer.
I never liked Spicer. He just seemed like a woos.
I somehow missed that Scully admitted his (obvious) lie.
Under what context did he admit to lying? Was he being questioned under oath or?
Does anyone know?
Well, he was just wrong. That’s all. Probably personally knew and liked him and thought he had reason to believe him. He let his guard down and forgot to NEVER trust these dogs!
LOl.. Scaramucci vouched for him and he knew it wasn’t hacked.
I guess Wallace rehab isn’t working on Fox. They are no longer dragging him out on every single program. Me, he’s dead to me and I switch off every time I hear his voice.
Those people (except for the biased Wallace), should always expect the worst from left-wing reporters.
Not very smart, and should know better after so many years as ‘journalists’.
He is indefinitely suspended from the network.
I read the comments and I doubt either of them were sincere, My money says they all knew and were trying to cover for him. After all they are all in the same Gang of Presstitutes whose motto is to LIE AT ALL COST
he told CSPAN, hid Boss
I agree and do the exact same thing. And I no longer watch his Sunday show either.
Good for CSPAN if they sat him down and point blank asked him.
Or, was he approached by the election campaign committee? Or worse, did law enforcement come to him?
Do you know for certain it was just CSPAN?
You can add Brit Hume to the mix of those who defended Scully.
Who is Steve Scully again?
Spicer is weak, and his support for Trump of late has been tepid at best.

I agree about your thoughts on Spicer. “Come back from the dark side!”
How could they miss such an obvious “tell” by Scully ... his lips were moving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
