The article in Yahoo News says it promotes the production on of antibodies in the recipient. By implication that appears to a vaccine as well as a treatment.
But, does it matter? If the treatment is effective in allowing a patient to recover in 48-72 hours and is affordable, do we need a vaccine? If you get the virus and go get a shot/IV and in 48-72 hours you’ve recovered,this pandemic is over.
That appears to be what happened to PDJT. And, he has authorized 1 million doses/treatments at taxpayer expense.
OK, it seems now that y ou are unwilling to learn. Thats fine. I never said it should be mandated, but existing safe drugs that are not curative. You are willing to kill people with your proclaimed self expertise.

According to the same standard of every other therapeutic and drug, if this passes phase III and it looks as if it will, it was vetted the same way everything else in America is. Your post sounds exactly like me, same kinds of histamine reaction to almost everything, so I too will take a wait and see approach. Every medicine or supplement I start the first time, I have to start with a tiny bit to make sure I don’t react.
The article is wrong. This is a monoclonal antibody infusion that does not stimulate an immune response. it is NOT a vaccine. It is a treatment that is based on the EXACT same science that the mRNA vaccine is based on. The IgG in the president was from his own immune system and appeared at the appropriate time after becoming infected. The infused antibodies were utilized to TREAT the infection. There are 1M doses of the EXPERIMENTAL medication used on the president, 330MM people in the US. This drug is NOT wisely available, and is being rationed according to hot sports.
It is important people understand, read, and comprehend the whole story.

However, my FRiend, you are right about the success of Regeneron leaving little use for a vaccine, much less a REQUIRED vaccine, and one that is only 50% effective. But we all know why they want the required vaccine.... in a nutshell... it’s all about control.

As for the survivable illnesses we vaccinate for, I have zero issue with measles being on that list and one heckuva one with chicken pox.

I don't think you know that any more than gas_dr knows that it is safe. As the article said "no mRNA vaccine has ever been used before."

I am not getting any vaccine until it has been thoroughly tested and I know that it won’t trigger a reaction.
