Looks like it is breaking down in only deep blue states and cities.

Should be a lesson in there somewhere.

I’ve noticed that people seem to be more reckless and rude when driving. In my face-to-face encounters, I haven’t noticed too much, but I don’t work around people. Most of my encounters have been shopping or at the park.

Glad it’s not like that where I live in America.

Only the cities, the liberal bastions of hell, are falling apart. The rest of us are doing just fine.

This may be happening in big cities but not where I live. Crime is down and people are very cordial to each other in public.

Maybe in big cities, but small towns are still somewhat civilized.

“This is what America has become.”

Bull cheese. The author is writing about San Francisco, New York and Chicago. I suggest this idiot ought to turn off his computer and go out side. Into the real world. Meet with real people.

A man has died after he was repeatedly stabbed in the legs following a dispute on a lower Manhattan subway station in New York City on Saturday, officials revealed.

The attack unfolded just before 3pm on the northbound J/Z train platform in Chambers Street Station, near to City Hall, where the victim, in his 20s, had been ensnared in an argument with another man, said to be in his 30s.

How cold does your heart have to be to attack someone like that?

Apparently cold enough to consider opening up a femoral artery.

Also, aren't California and New York place that have enacted Dumb-O-Crat bail "reform?"

PING!

People are more polite in my small town. Partly out of fear I think because people are more on edge.

At any rate, none of it has been caused by the pandemic. All of it is due to government over-reaction and general stupidity.

My own town is politically moderate - some Trump voters and undoubtedly some Biden voters coming up - but we’re doing fine, too. We keep it civil around here.

I’m doing fine in the semi-rural suburb about 30 miles nw of Detroit. ZERO troubles. I do go into Detroit at least once per week. Everybody has been cool. I have very good situational awareness, and am usually prepared to be uncivilized to the uncivil. I’ve even talked to strangers who I knew had opposite views, but after listening to my rant many held back on expressing theirs. The ones that still didn’t get it agreed to disagree and part, not as enemies but as individuals with different views.

Life’s been good so far with the ‘rona. Only one mild incident in CA on summer vacay.

As a long time South Philadelphia "ham'n'egger" who walks to work in the city, you are correct.

We've had some unrest, the GOV building I work in has been shut down twice because of possible rioting, but it never materialized.

Aside from the occasional masked look of disapproval (I refuse to wear one out of doors) on my way to work, nothing has changed.

NOW, in November, I could see this happening completely differently, but you are very correct, things are by and large, same as they ever were.
