You would think growing up around gangsters I would be sharper when it came to stuff like that.
But I just don’t think like that.

Working in NYC thirty years ago sure taught me that. Especially riding the E train. I always make sure I know what's going on around me, even more so now that I'm getting older. Working in a busy hospital ER you gotta be sharp. People who are in pain, crazy or just plain whacked out can do some crazy stuff in a heartbeat.
