In a surprise move, Boeing announced Thursday it will move all 787 Dreamliner production from Washington to South Carolina, a state known for its business-friendly environment. Washington Governor Jay Inslee immediately slammed the company for turning its back on the state and threatened a review of Washington's favorable tax treatment of Boeing.
Gee, do you think threatening government hostility is going to dissuade them from moving to escape wait for it government hostility?
Maybe Gov. Inslee should have focused more on creating a business-friendly environment in Washington, instead of acting like businesses don't have the right to choose where they locate.

Seattle is an anarchist controlled city. Antifa might just burn Boeing down.
“Well, no”
That was said of the McDonnell Douglas buyout in 1996 too. “Now way! Not going to happen!”
Inbred Inslee, like all democrats is incapable of discussion, negotiations and debate. They must always resort to threats to try to get their way.
Amazon is on the road to Bellevue, Wa.
Boeing should move it’s ENITRE operation out of Washington.
I think the governor is drinking something called bath salts .
Dear Governor, were moving everything to SC. Love, Boeing
Or Gary Locke, or Grisewald (sp)(governor who stole the elections.
Not sure Chicago business climate is much more favorable than Seattle

Boeing was in the process of expansion for the 777 in Mukilteo, mid-90s I think. A local planning 'official' decided that Boeing would be charged $50 million for impacts to expand a plant already in place. The $$$ would go toward parks, etc, nothing related to the facility.
Boeing complained. The planning official was asked...why $50M for civic improvements? Why that number?
The answer..."Because I could."
Boeing's then Chairman of the Board (maybe CEO) gave a speech (at the local CofC I think)where he warned the local governments and WA State that if things didn't improve there would be no new Boeing plants in the state.
The threat wasn't taken seriously. That's why HQ for the parent company was moved to Chicago. Then Charleston.
The LOeft...they either ignore you or threaten you.
Thanks for the info. Not really suprising.
I once saw a writeup to the effect of (but much more extensive) “Ohio provided the engineering, manufacturing, financing... for the first powered heavier-than-air flight. North Carolina provided the wind.”
