I’d like to see Trump just walk over , take a glance, and come back to his podium and say thought so. He has the questions and answers written down.

Rush is right. Biden will claim to have been exposed to Covid by a person close to him & he will have to be quarantined in his basement during the first debate.

Nothing will surprise me Biden is clearly struggling and a debate will reveal his infirmity.
I think the map is wrong. NE-2 should go to Biden. He is ahead almost 20 points there. That would mean Trump will be at 259, and will need more than one Midwestern state to win.
I think their logic is that if Joe emerges in the debate fresh, knowledgeable and impassioned...all will be forgiven.
Trump and team would do well to prepare for the worst, just in case all the intelligence has been faulty. And deceptive.
Personally, I think he’s had it and cannot recover. But that could be my own biases talking.

I still think Biden is smart enough to realize that sitting in his basement, using a teleprompter for “interviews”, talking in empty parking lots, cornfields, echoing halls, picnicking in backyards is not a real campaign. He knows that the only semblance of a campaign is being waged by the media on his behalf.
I think Biden is going to buy the farm BEFORE the election and the Dems will say his dying wish was for Kamala to be president.
If they pump up Joe with the right meds, he’ll light up and he will be lucid enough to handle the debate. Then he’ll crash afterwards.
Anonymous sources tell me Joe is on a slow drip IV cocktail for dementia.

I have never seen a campaign run like Biden’s is. They can only hope to win with the mail in ballots cheating.
There’s such a low expectation for Biden that if he shows up, doesn’t wet his pants, and keeps his gaffes under 50% of what he says - he looks like a champ.

Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog. (Unions used this tactic. Peaceful [albeit loud] demonstrations during the heyday of unions in the early to mid-20th Century incurred management’s wrath, often in the form of violence that eventually brought public sympathy to their side.)
The left has pushed the "negative" through to a greater negative. They've pushed much too hard and have fired up their violent idiots bringing, IMO, much more support for the "law and order" Trump campaign. The Rats are reading their media's reviews and loving it. They most likely are telling themselves it is an unnecessary risk to go out on the hustings. Joe probably thinks the debates are unnecessary. We'll see on the 29th...
If they are cramming Biden for the debates trying to get him to memorize his talking points, then they are probably canceling public appearances because that will be extra stimuli that might confuse him and cause him to forget his memorized lines.
He's probably getting flash card treatment, drilling him over and over on the questions and answers so they become automatic responses, but this will probably only last for a few days before he begins to lose the recall.
Public appearances with non-debate related stimuli might disrupt this pattern of question and recall.
What will happen during the debate is that Biden will start out strong, but as President Trump keeps bringing up different subjects, Biden will start to forget his lines; only the "top" lines, or his favorite one, will be remembered. After about an hour, Biden will run out of things to say and he will begin repeating the same few lines over and over.
President Trump will eventually close by saying that he's fluent on any topic that's asked of him, and then he will ask the viewers to compare him to Biden's performance tonight.
