My only real worry right now is mail-in ballots + ballot harvesting.
As I said back in 2018 in response to all the pearl-clutching during the Kavanaugh fiasco ... theres no way in hell Mitch McConnell blocked the Merrick Garland nomination for months in 2016 just to blow this opportunity to shape the Supreme Court.
LOLOL.....missed that, but I LOVE it!
I believe you are being naive about the perfidy and treachery of RINOs. Romneys dishonor and disloyalty to his country is without end or bound.
Murkowkskis personal cowardice and weakness have long been on display.
Collins at least has a political excuse. Shes in a bad situation in her race.
All that said, I think T still gets his judge. But it will be 50/50 with Pence breaking the tie.
I will add this.
Any R that at any point opposes or slows this process or votes against Ts nominee, should be reassigned to the Senate Select Special Subcommittee for Cleaning Shitters until such time as Jesus makes his final return.
Originally, I took it as a given that Romney would side with the Dems, just like he did during impeachment. But I think there is a difference in Utah between opposing Trump, who isnt particularly popular there, and torpedoing a conservative, pro-life Supreme Court pick.
I’m not worried at all about this.
The deals have already been made, probably months ago, in anticipation. Everything now is theater -> some of it based on a true story, some not.
But I think the proper way to view any news is as theater if it's not an unforeseeable event.
Maine is a left-leaning state.
Collins or her equal is the best I expect there.
You can choose a liberal Maine senator or a RINO.
She will thread the needle as she is capable of.
If Mitch has the votes, hell let her know she can vote no.
Its just how it works.
Makes sense to me... nice analysis...
