Spirit Airlines passenger was told to expect local police to be waiting for him after an argument with a flight attendant over face masks was captured on video and shared to social media.
The video begins during the conversation with the passengerwho is unnamedtelling the Spirit Airlines employee that he is wearing a mask.
In response, the flight attendant asks what he is wearing under his mask and that the cloth around his nose and mouth is not legally a mask. The conversation below:
Im wearing a mask.
No.
What do you have underneath this? This is not legal to wear.
Im wearing a maskLegal by who? Legal by who? Whats wrong with my mask?
It is not legal according to the CDC.
Really?
Really. Thats why I handed you a mask.
Show me those rules.
I dont have to show you the rules.
Well, I dont have to wear the mask that you gave me. Im wearing the mask that I have. Ive been on 20 flights, okay? Ive literally been on 20 flights with this same exact mask. Alright? Im done talking.
Well, so am I. And Ill have the authorities waiting for you when we land.
Okay, sounds good.

The flight attendant that follows the rules had his mask down under his nose! https://twitter.com/MaggiePeggy123/status/1307084478867804160?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1307085014044233730%7Ctwgr%5Eshare_3&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fredstatenation.com%2Fvideo-flight-attendant-with-the-mask-under-his-nose-threatens-passenger-with-arrest-over-patriotic-face-covering-it-is-not-legal-according-to-the-cdc%2F
Spirit Airlines did send an apology or some sort of an apology:

The patriotiotic mask covered more than the flight attendant loose mask which was creeping down his nose and he kept pushing it up with his hands. I dont need to show you anything. Spirit hires unstable attendants. He bullied and threatened a passenger. He should be fired.
If you watch movies made in the 1960s, there is a frequent stereotype of stewardesses that is depicted, in which the job is sexualized. I think that is why the terms have changed over time, to avoid the overtones of stewardess and project a more professional attitude. That is fine with me. Women who work that job should be treated with respect.
Spirit airlines- the greyhound bus of the skies!
Well of course, and flight attendants are the Executive branch of the CDC. Where have you been?
actually yeah it is a thing- lots of reports on it-
From the post below yours:
“Masks should NOT be worn by children younger than two, people who have trouble breathing,”
Oooo, homosexuals are so tough with the power of the state behind them.
I’ve gotten to the point where I can trust a fully masked person or a fully unmasked person, but NOT someone wearing the mask under his nose: this is a dishonest person.
they let the homos take over the air!!! Just kidding but alot of them are queers, which explains the haughty behavior.
You misspelled FAG.
you forgot the “G”
Not the point. The point is I’m sick of simple short accurate words being replaced by long-winded pretensious names due to “PC”.
100 years ago, on the Titanic, as with every ship, the men on the crew dealing with various tasks from tending to rooms, to cleaning, to everything not directly involved with running the ship itself, were called....stewards.
THAT is where “stewardess” came from - the same idea.
Note they didn’t even delineate whether it was ship or plane, etc.
Now we have cumbersome as well as “non-hurtful” names - flight attendant (4 syllables), African-American (7 syllables), etc.
Again, off my soapbox!
Just put him on the no fly list, and don’t create a scene. He’ll either wear the mask or disappear.
“That attendant is gay as a seven dollar bill....ROFL...”
Hith name ith Bruthie.
Ironically RBG is a flying spirit now too
