Thank you for pointing that connection out.
I think the answer to your question is that God has both a sense of humor, and a sense of irony. That He would call her home on Rosh Hashanah is perhaps a reminder to us, that we are all just children of God at our beginning, we become social and political humans during Earthly life, and we again are just children of God at the end.
I disagreed with probably 80+% of RBGs positions. But I respect her achievements, and I wish her the best in the afterlife. RIP RBG.
yours: “She should have retired in order to enjoy life, instead she became a slave to her ideals.”
me: I totally agree. Her judicial career was a tragedy for America. Her last few years were a double tragedy — for our nation and constitution, obviously.....AND for herself as a person. She definitely should have retired several years ago and found more constructive pastimes, interests, things to do that she enjoyed (and that didn’t inflict any more damage on anyone).
......heheheh......betcha ruthie wanted to retire as she fought the cancers consuming her.....
Obama probably told her “I talked to the clintons. hillary’s a shoo-in......you can bow out when she’s in office. Bill named you and hillary can name your successor.”
The left smear machines will be working overtime to find victims of whoever the next nominee is. No matter who it is. As of today there are about a dozen possibilities, so they will need to have at leat 50 victims in the wings.
Im sure that they have been in training for more than a year.
If they havent, the libs are REALLY stupid. The last idiot was a flop and seemed ill-prepared.
But...what happens if the nominee is a woman. Well, im sure they have that covered with something really lurid also.
That sounds racist.
And he had hinted he’d like to retire.
Its just too bad, he’s such a great judicial intellect.
Oh Lord, I thank Thee that Thou didst not have me born a democrat.
Got it off X22 site
Its not a coincidence the videos sound the same.
btt
I was waiting for this reaction for four years. She really messed up her cause by not retiring during Obama’s Regime.
It was very selfish of a multi-time cancer survivor NOT to retire at 80. She wanted to stay on as long as possible, regardless of her ability to serve.
Lmao !!! Lol !!
I pray she enjoys the eternal reward deserved by her works here on earth
That’s the problem with a lifetime position oon the SC....you end up basically servant to the party as a place holder.
Heck Pelosi was going to retire had Hillary won...we know how that went.
#35. My grandmother on my mother’s side was born and died on Rosh Hashonah. She was a “tzaddik”. Lost her whole remaining European family (6 brothers/sisters plus their children and grandchildren) in the mass executions in Lemberg or at the slave labor/concentration/extermination camps of Belzec and Auschwitz.
Her husband, my grandfather, died very young during the Depression so who had to work 7 days a week in her grocery store to feed the family and put my uncle through Med School.
She gave birth to a famed doctor, my mother a semi-professional opera singer/symphony supporter, WW2 DOA civilian worker and later charity worker. Another son was
severally injured during an aircraft maintenance accident (AAC)in WW2.
Her grandchildren and great grandchildren included two lawyers (brother/sister), a psychologist, a very published writer and VN/Cambodia journalist, a combat veteran of Iraq and former federal police officer, a paralegal who worked in helping handicapped children, and a greatgranddaughter who is the nicest, funniest young teenager on earth and destined to be a conservative President in the future.
I’ll take my grandmother over RBG any day, any time, any where. She loved America and would never do anything to harm it. RIP.
Yeah....
