$5500 a month to live in Santa Ana? No thanks, I dont care how nice the countertops are.
Wow. They have luxury apartments in Santa Ana now?
I remember one of my cars that was stolen being found there.
$5500 a month to live in Santa Ana?
You’d have to be suffering from industrial strength stupidity.
“Wow. They have luxury apartments in Santa Ana now?
I remember one of my cars that was stolen being found there.”
My understanding was there was a waiting list of applicants waiting for an apartment there.
Don’t know why, the Hutton Centre office buildings blocked a view of the mountains and hills and the noise from the aircraft flying into JWA and cars on the 405 and 55 freeways would make it unbearable for me.
My knowledge of Santa Ana is now officially obsolete.
>>$5500 a month to live in Santa Ana?

Yeah, my dad bought a 70’s rancher in Fountain Valley for mid 200,000s. Sold it for 650,000 15 years ago. Now it’s on sale at 850,000. The bubble is about to burst.
What would Philip K. Dick say to that?

I grew up in OC but could never live there now. Can’t stand the stench of weed and I’d like to have real trees around my house and see rain and snow from time to time.
It was great back in the 90’s, but now it’s just too expensive.
See that milky hazy air? It’s from 375,000 illegals firing up their leaf blowers every day.
It looked like that in the early '80s, only it was darker brown. I used to breathe in lots of it when I went running. It made my lungs hurt. I would have stayed if not for that miserable air.
Isn’t South Coast Plaza technically in Santa Ana?
Are you kidding? What my folks bought brand new in S.CA in the mid 50s, the total price is about equal to what many suckers are now paying every 2-3 months in monthly mortgage payments!
Let that sink in.
Costa Mesa
“Isnt South Coast Plaza technically in Santa Ana?”
South Coast Plaza is in Costa Mesa. South Coast Village is in Santa Ana.
The area bounded by Fairview on the west, MacArthur to the north, 55 freeway to the east, and 405 to the south is known as the South Coast Metro. It’s a very desirable place to live and work despite parts of it being in Santa Ana.
So you think the stench of weed pravades all of O.C. and that there are no real trees? That’s as ridiculous as people believing that all of Santa Ana is run down and populated by illegals and gangbangers.
Cross the street from South Coast Plaza to the north and it’s “South Coast Metro” if you don’t want to admit to living in Santa Ana.
Summer of Crime.
I worked on an environmental cleanup case re the old Santa Anna Army Airfield from WW2. Does that count as cleaning up the air/water/etc.?
