If he was taking the sort of stand our patriots took nearly 250 years ago he would have been storming the mayor’s office in Kenosha and the governor’s office in Madison.
A parent should have stopped him when they saw him heading out the door toting an AR15 and ask what was going on with him.

It does seem as if Kyle Rittenhouse was abandoned and left to face a crowd of criminals bent on destruction and violence. Now he is alone and the target of condemnation and mockery by a nation of lesser men who think the right thing to do is cower in their homes.

The videos out there already:
One of the Antifa goons with a pistol SHOT AT KYLE and hit the first victim, as did Kyle firing back, or mistakenly firing at the first victim thinking he was shooting at him.
There are clear 4-5 glock shots, followed by 4 5.56. The first victim was hit 5-6 times so it wasn’t just Kyle that shot him.
The Antifa goon was seen on camera multiple times holstered with a glock or something like it, then running around the scene during the first shooting with gun brandished.

Based on the available video thus far, those look like self-defense shoots in at least two of the three aggressors. There is supposedly more video on the third aggressor that also shows a case of self-defense.
Do think he's in trouble for OC of a long gun, as he's under the age of 18 and apparently that's the minimum age to OC in Wisconsin.
Also need to determine if the parents have permission to travel to Kenosha.

You’re assuming everyone feels as you do about things. About the only way to be sure of no time in a hard prison setting would be to successfully cop a plea of some kind of diminished capacity, due to youth or whatever.
The author totally misses the point. Kyle was in over his head. He had no basic training, had no situational awareness and he made himself out to be a target.
I applaud Kyle’s enthusiasm, but regret his lack of experience and training.
We need permanent tax caps in our federal Constitution to avoid a civil war.

I just received an email from GOA-Gun Owners Of America saying they’re getting involved in the kId’s defense also with money and attorneys.
At what point in our history did we surrender our rights to self defense and protection of our country to an entrenched
Civil Service Establishment.

People need to wake up to the fact that the “entrenched Civil Service establishment” is in reality a hostile army of pampered people who would vote for Satan himself if he promised them more money and more benefits and more paid leave. They could care less about the welfare of those who are not in their army.
