How about let’s just let people have open and honest conversations on the role of government without fear of reprisal?
.............................................
How about let’s just demand that government at all levels fulfill its responsibility to law-abiding citizens by enforcing the laws and arresting and prosecuting anyone and everyone who is perceived to be guilty of violating those laws.

I haven't read it yet, but the simple fact is:

Marxism is Slavery. It is as simple as that.

Whenever the worth of your work is determined by others on the basis of anything other than the value you wish to place on it, your effort is going to enrich someone else at your expense.

In a capitalist workforce, if you place too high a value on what you charge for your work, you won't get work, and you won't get paid. That is pretty simple.

People will vote on the value of your work with dollar bills they hold up in their hands. It is democratic and straightforward. Money doesn't lie. If you ask too much, people will hold out their dollars for others who charge less for their work.

If the value drops too low and you get crap work in return for the money paid, people will increase the money they spend to get what they want.

It is water that finds its own level, more or less.

Anytime you see someone espousing Marxisim and socialism, you can bet the value of their work is crap. They want to be one of two things:

That is petty much it.

All the other stuff, the murdering, the looting, the injustice, the persecution, all of it, is just the filthy bloody plant that grows from the fertile soil of the slavery of Marxism and Socialism.

NOW I am going to go read the article...:)

The word “appeasement” made its first entrance at word 126.

Thank you. That was a brilliantly done article, just brilliant. I admit that I thought the author hovered a bit too close to the edge of philosophy, the verbiage of which tends to make people's eyes glaze over, but I think he managed to skirt it.

Remarkably well done, IMO.

The author said that, “No, Marxist political theory is not simply a great lie.” and he is right. It ISN’T a lie. It is built on a foundation of lies, but Marxism itself, as practiced, is no lie.

Mr. Hazony stated: “This brings us to the third failing of the Marxist framework. This is the notorious absence of a clear view as to what the underclass, having overthrown its oppressors and seized the state, is supposed to do with its newfound power. Marx is emphatic that once they have control of the state, the oppressed classes will be able to end oppression.” This is not a failing of Marxism, it is inherent in it. Marxism is a grab for power, nothing more, using the tools of Marx and today, Alinsky, to execute that grab. The “Oppressed” will indeed “end oppression” for themselves. They mean to use their newfound power to oppress others. Alinsky is quite frank about his Marxist goals, and those goals have nothing to do with oppression and everything to do with power.

It is important to note that for the Left, control of language is an all important aspect of their march towards tyranny. The author does note this in context, how language, symbology and their meanings are used as weapons by the Left, even against those who were once allied with it. The shifting and adaptable nature of this control of languages and symbols is nothing more than an outright cudgel as a tool of control to frame various issues to persecute and control those who are either too weak minded to pay attention, or those who know full well what is being done but cannot overcome the masses of ignorant people being manipulated and steered in opposition to them.

He also does a great job of framing one of the issues the Left LOVES to employ as an ideological weapon their framing of the term "Equality". I loved the way he laid out these three examples that the Left thinks conservatism has no answer for:

In the end, the answer to all is encoded in their deliberately flawed concept of Equality.

Equality does not mean equality of ability nor the equality of outcome, simply because equality of ability or outcome do not exist and cannot be mandated.

What "equality" REALLY means is the equality of American citizens under our Constitution to pursue Life, Liberty, and Happiness equally.

Not very long ago, most of us living in free societies knew that Marxism was not compatible with democracy. But with liberal institutions overrun by “Progressives” and “Anti-Racists,” much of what was once obvious about Marxism, and much of what was once obvious about democracy, has been forgotten.

I have never been fond of Lord of The Rings quotes, but this paragraph above did bring to mind a particularly relevant quote: “Truth became legend, legend became myth, and some things that should not have been forgotten were lost.

This was depressing to read, and the truth of the the article is clear to ANYONE who has watched the Left for the past several decades.

We have indeed become soft, no doubt. And this softness brings to mind a favorite maxim of many of us:

Hard times create strong men.

Strong men create good times.

Good times create weak men.

And, weak men create hard times.”

I agree. Plus, there will be no competition. Prices may be artificially low, but you will have to wait in line to get it. Only those with pull will be at the head of the line.

After a few years of real Marxism, Chinese style Communism may look like a birthday present. And maybe that is the point.

"or we end up killing all of them to eradicate the madness."
"No matter how you slice it, it’s not going to end well."

These two statements contradict each other.

Seriously.

EVERY SINGLE IOTA OF SOCIETAL DECAY since the 1950s, has been planned, instituted, developed, tracked, accelerated, instantiated by the left.

What would happen if all the Marxists suddenly ceased to exist?

What would happen without the tens of trillions of graft, fraud, bribes, under-the-table money given to things KNOWN to be destructive, just to provide sinecures for utterly evil, corrupt politicians, judges, lawyers, pressure groups, and "foundations" and "non-profits" all designed to undermine our faith and our country?

How many milliseconds before sanity resumed, without the constant brainwashing and impetus towards evil, destruction, debauchery, and hatred?
