He’s probably been looking at the paper of the kid next to him during tests since first grade. He fits the bill of someone who has always been that kind of kid. A lazy dummy, full of bravado. When caught or accused, he’d get arrogant, call the kid who tried to hide his own test paper a “jerk,” or a “mama’s boy,” or “teacher’s pet,” and when the taacher caught him cheating, he’d, deny, deny, deny, or if he couldn’t do that, he’d minimize and make a joke out of it. He likely got away with the lazy, cheating way more than he didn’t. He developed a greed and manipulatin that go along with that and raised and helped a son to follow in his footsteps.
