Bryan Callen: I'm not Bullish on California
Clarksvillian Underground ^ | August 15, 2020 | Eric Fisher

(CU) - I'm not bullish on California. And that just isn’t me. I've spoken with some very smart people who are economic animals and they agree and they’re all looking to get out. It's too expensive. Why? I live in skid row basically. I'm in Venice been there for 25 years, I love it. I just don't recognize my town anymore.

California’s always shown us what the future would look like.

Yeah, Austin is headed toward Seattle status.

Wyoming, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Arkansas, or West Texas make a lot more sense for someone seeking to escape the regimentation mentality.

Fleeing California for Austin is much like fleeing Hiroshima after the mushroom cloud for Nagasaki.

NOT Oklahoma! It’s hot. It’s windy. It’s humid. There are tornados. The roads aren’t very good. Prayers are said in some schools and at civic meetings and rodeos. There are pickup trucks everywhere. People actually own firearms. They like the oil industry. Every county voted for Trump in the 2016.

Very bad place. Please avoid if at all possible.

California started it's decline decades ago and steadily has become worse in every direction.

Why is it never coming back to what it once was?

They welcomed in millions of illegals, Muslims and foreign nationals in every direction, and most of these imports don't give 2 sh*ts about America and they aint going anywhere and they multiply like rabbits. Sadly, it's all over for that state which is run by anarchist, rioter and looter supporters.

Good analogy.

Texas is pretty much full, consider moving to NYC .... I hear that there are bargain basement prices on real estate and the people there are welcoming and friendly.

Summary: If you didn’t vote for Trump in ‘16 we don’t want you in Texas.

Eric Fisher is well on his way, as evidenced by the last four sentences of his artice...
"Just start here. What percentage of your money do you want to give the government every year and every day? I pay something like 52% taxes, so half my check and half my year is working for someone else. How much more do you want from me?"

That is the sound of a light turning on.

Way too many EVIL individuals in Colliefornia. Navin Gruesom, Plasticface PSYCHOPATH Pelosi, Marxine, Feinstein, Hollyweird, Manson idolators, etc., etc.

Check out anytime you want from Hotel Hell. Lots of pretty skin masks, lots of totalitarians riding herd over your existence. I was there 2 weeks ago for a 10 day vacay. Back here in Michigan our governor is just as cray cray. Wanna see its face?

the politicians have ruined the once-great state of Californication (as well as NY and Illinois and much of Michigan and Washington State and Oregon and now Nevada is going under the Los Angeles communist influence too)

it is tragic!

the state govt of Calif is about the most corrupt in USA, as are big cities there like SF and LA especially corrupt. state agencies that control necessary services and prices have boosted prices and rates all the way up to the stratosphere (utilities that used to cost $6 a month are now over $206 and that’s with gas turned off and no electric heating other than stovetop), Calif has been stuck with one of the most corrupt utility service agencies for years and years, kickbacks galore and let the people be damned is its motto. The state highway department has been corrupted since Brown’s first administration, with four gasoline taxes and highest costs to register vehicles in USA, most of the revenue is diverted to krap kickback projects like fake bullet trains to nowhere while the roads fall to pieces bump bump and wreck your car. so many communist/nazi/leftist political hacks that you can’t even count them all. ballots rigged to, in many cases, only permit voting between two commie leftist Democrats. R party is almost nonexistent, doesn’t even try to campaign even though they could win the state there if they only really tried (their last couple of governors ruined the R brand.. Schwarzenegger a leftist but not insane except he knocked up his maid with a child...two ineffective R govs also in Deukmejian (corrupt through and through) and Wilson (ran an openly racist campaign, alas, so much like a Democrat but since there was an R after his name he ruined the R brand)

many D voters out in Calif are sick and tired of all the corruption and super high taxes.............thus, costs of living are through the roof and everyone suffers except of course the courupt D politicians-office holders

there are lots of leftist leaning D’s who are sick and tired of the graft kickbacks and corruption... and of course the resulting super high costs of living that are crushing almost everyone in Calif these days

they would vote for an honest R with a reform bent to his or her campaign

but.. no R party is visible out there, except for a couple of local R politicians ... no genuine statewide campaign effort by the GOP. so Calif remains sunk in its misery

Yeah, Austin is headed toward Seattle status.

Texas should be split into 5 states. West Texas. Panhandle. Austin. East Texas. South Texas. Make it that Republicans can still win the electoral votes in 4 out of 5 states.

I wondered if this was the same Bryan Callen who played Coach Mellor on the Goldbergs and it is! He is currently being accused of rape and sexual harassment from the #metoo crowd, so he may be being converted to Republican.
