This is objectively false. SB145 is bad, but doesn't affect legality of statutory rape. It specifically deals with whether people who are convicted of a single offense and are within 10 years of the victim have to registered as sex offenders. It expands the exceptions of who has to register. Not good, but the article is a misrepresentation.
