Bill Gates this week added more flame to the fire in the ongoing debate over the usage of hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19, claiming that using the drug to treat the coronavirus carries with it the risk of "severe side effects" and arguing that medical officials should instead pursue the numerous "good therapeutic drugs" currently in development.
Yet there is at present little evidence that "severe side effects" are common in COVID-19 patients who take hydroxychloroquine, with the majority of reported adverse events being relatively mild and only a small fraction of reported effects so far being dangerous and/or fatal.
The drug, which has been used for years to treat malaria and other conditions like lupus, has been at the center of a medical and political firestorm since March when President Trump touted the medicine as a possible effective treatment for coronavirus. Numerous medical officials have claimed that it offers no benefit to COVID-19 patients, while others have insisted that it is highly effective when used in certain circumstances, specifically on high-risk patients early in the course of the disease.
Asked by Bloomberg magazine about the controversy on Thursday, Gateswho has been at the forefront of funding and advocacy efforts to find both a cure and a vaccine for COVID-19said that though we live "in age of science ... sometimes it doesnt feel that way."...

I guess we should outlaw chemotherapy and radiation and about 4 billion other cost-benefit wins.
Except it doesn't really commonly have severe side effects, HCQ only sometimes has uncomfortable side effects - some I know who have travelled to India didn't love it, but it's part for the course. 'Severe' is a weasel word.
These are the kinds of statements that prove the hypothesis that Gates has ulterior motives and like the rest of the left is using Covid as an agenda tool rather than trying to put it in the past.
Genocide Bill Gates is not a doctor and anything said by him should be viewed with skepticism as he is heavily invested in the high priced alternatives that may cause death, sterility, autism, etc.
The age of Science is past. I don’t believe anything a “scientist” says just because he said it. In fact I automatically doubt 100 percent of the time the rubbish that comes out of their lying political faces.
“Gates has an agenda.”
Have you seen this one on PEPFAR? Its 45 minutes but...wow!

In a nutshell:
CDC/PEPFAR (Birx, Fauci, Pence) > Global Fund (Birx, Gates, vaccines, $10s of billions from Fed>via PEPFAR) > UN Development Program (oversees GF spending with closed books via special immunity, gets $100s of millions from Fed for administering) > GF grant recipients (a mystery).
I took it for several months a number of years ago to prevent malaria. No side effects worth mentioning.
OK. Who knows? Maybe so. Would you rather have side effects or be dead?
Bill Gates wants to mess with people at a genetic level.
such bullshiite
it works
he knows it
he cant make people take his vax then
its a known emergency staple drug for nations for decades
In use for decades, issued like candy to soldiers, but in 2020 it’s dangerous. Amazing.
I’m not one for conspiracy theories, but the MSM and the Democrat hacks have all taken exactly the same tack.
HCQ can indeed have serious side effects, all of which are associated with higher doses and long term use.
There are indeed rare contra-indicatios: people who already have retinosis, are taking certain heart medications etc, but even then, serious side effects are passing rare.
So, here’s the lie: Taken at high doses and/or for a prolonged period it can have serious side effects. But that’s not the claim made for HCQ+Zinc combination therapy for Covid. They all change the terms of the debate in exactly the same way.
Do they have the same publicity agent?
