A crowd of 3000 fans. Wow.
Suck it up, Reggie.
We have soccer stars? Who knew?
It’s disrespectful that some fans didn’t respect his expression of disrespect for America.
RE: A crowd of 3000 fans. Wow.
I don’t think I saw that number of the article. But in a soccer coliseum, that’s considered small. Easy to practice social distancing.
Hey, Reg....don’t like it here?
You can pick up your “reparations” on the way out: a spear, a loin cloth and a free boat trip back to Africa. Try playing “ball” over there and see how far ya get.
Most of these useless, pompous jackasses would be in prison orange and picking up trash on the side of the road IF it weren’t for a “ball”.
One too many balls have bounced off this moron’s head.
Don’t these idiots know that people who love this country and respect the flag are the ones that buy tickets and licensed products. They are insane to piss off those who pay to see them play.
Boo, buddy.
Embrace the Suck.
Awesome - I might go to a game, just to chant !!! What a great idea !!!
“The last six months have been absolute hell for us. Absolute hell. Because We have to watch other people play soccer, and were just sitting home”
Those poor, pitiful people. “Absolute hell”? Hyperbole much? Does he know that some people don’t even have an income? That kids aren’t able to go to school?
Spoiled rotten loser.
Those people booing and shouting USA were also taking a stand. Suck it up buttercup.
Really - this was the one sport that was already viewed as un-American (though baseball is catching up), and they shouldn’t have engaged in virtue-signaling. I’ve never met an African-AMERICAN soccer fan; I know some African soccer fans living in the US, but no black Americans - wasted effort that will backfire.
Next game there will be 2,000 fans (and 20 watching on TV instead of 30).
My town had 3 starters on the 1994 World Cup team when the US hosted, and the soccer fans I knew all proclaimed that this would herald soccer’s boom in popularity in the US. The fans were treated to a 0-0 tie at the end of extra time in the final, and watched the first World Cup final decided by a shootout. A few die-hards still insist that soccer will explode in popularity here, but they are delusional - some aspects of the game make it unwatchable for Americans (not just low scores, but pathetic attempts to draw penalties and such).
My Version: You got fans taking a stand for what they believe in and booing you for taking a stand for what you believe in and millions of other people who support this Marxist cause
BLM = Marxism. If you dont believe it research it. They should rename BLM to BLDM since their goals have nothing to do with black lives. They could care less.
Our local NLS team moved from playing in Giants Stadium to a newer, much smaller one - and they still don’t sell out any games. Like the Giants and Jets, the team is marketed as “NY” but they play in NJ.
Soccer is popular with the imported replacement Americans in my area, but they don’t watch MLS soccer; they watch the European leagues or their own Latin American ones.
Only professional athletes have a right to express their political opinions.
Shouldn’t insult paying customers
This creep thinks that people who don’t share his contempt for the USA are “disgusting”.
