I’ve seen articles like this before. Even if you have good insurance, go to a free testing site. Do not get tested on your insurance plan.

What happens if you have to get tested for work or because it is required before you can have gallbladder surgery or something like that?

FWIW, we got tests on insurance because the state testing sucks. No transparency on who is actually doing the testing and it takes forever to get back. We knew where and who was doing the testing and had a detailed report back in less than 72 hours. We know folks getting tested through the state who are waiting for results for over a week.
