Columbia University to Hold Five Week ‘Deconstructing Whiteness’ Lecture Series For White Students

Columbia University is holding a five week long series of lectures for white students on “deconstructing whiteness.”

The workshop series is titled “From Ally to Accomplice at Columbia: Working Group for Examining and Deconstructing Whiteness to Mitigate Racial Trauma.”

According to the Facebook page for the series, the aim is “for white-identified students to engage in exploration of their white identities and build community and accountability around deconstructing whiteness and white privilege to facilitate the development of an anti-racist lens.”

The description adds that it “will not be a support group for white students. Nor will it be comfortable or easy.”

Campus Reform reports that the sessions, which will be held over Zoom, had filled up following “overwhelming interest!”

“There are numerous ways to address the issue of structural racism. This program is intended to engage students from a public health perspective,” Columbia Health Associate Director of Communications Gayle Gatchalian told Campus Reform. “The intent is to provide an alternative angle by which to tackle the issue.”

This is official persecution of one group of people based on their race. The university is pushing racist propaganda with the purpose of having a hard-left political impact. This is a workshop, but this detached from reality, racist propaganda has become standard in many classrooms in the nation (and the entire West). I think that’s the ticket. And you can get creative if you want to. So for example, if you’re of Irish descent, don’t say you’re white or even Irish. Say you’re Celtic. And then get very offended if anyone says you’re white. Complain about anti-Celtic discrimination and threaten a lawsuit.

Columbia University was founded in 1754 by King George II of England, who (a) was a white male, and (b) enjoyed the personal benefits of colonialism and the slave trade.

A quick look at the official History page of Columbia reveals (a) no mention of African Americans and only one mention of the word Black, and that only to speak of the William Black Medical Research Building. William Black was — as you might guess — was a white male. Interestingly, his birth name was Schwartz, and he was the founder of the Chock Full O'Nuts company.

Columbia University has absolutely zero standing when it comes to virtue signaling about "whiteness," and has no right whatsoever to lecture anyone on the subject. It is insulting, in fact, for them to do so. Just one more left-wing phony fake fraud, as the late Bob Grant used to say.
