My advice to gun buyers is “Avoid the last minute rush. Shop early, shop often. Buy more than you can afford.”
I was out shopping today. The one thing I cannot find anywhere is rubbing alcohol.
Wonder where hes shopping. Shelves have been full everywhere we go. Including TP, that precious barometer of all thats good in America.
Food-store shelves are by no means consistently full.
Just cast about 1,00 more 44 (.431") bullets in 210gr gas check and 240 gr Keith (cast weight @ 255gr). Than casted another 1,000 45 caliber 300gr gas check for the 45-70. Already had @ 1,000 45 caliber 230gr for the 45 auto. Casting bullets makes better loads with hard cast bullets (Brinell hardness 20)and choice of powders that the guns like most.
I had firearms experience in the military, but was not a gun owner afterwards. Don’t hunt and didn’t see the need.
That has changed.
Have only been to range once with my new purchases, but will go again soon.
It’s basically reckless now to be unarmed.
I like getting the freshly made almond butter.
Oh! “empty shelves”... in gun stores.
If anyone can find “Caffeine Free Diet Dr. Pepper” anywhere,
Mrs. Repeal would like to know.
It has become her Holy Grail.
Trying to gin up some panic. Did not read beyond the headline.
Its been tough finding fishing tackle in my parts. At least the stuff I use.
The shelves are just as empty now as they were during the beginning of this crap.
Can anyone tell me why, other than demand, the price of used Apple computers seems to have at least doubled. Last fall I could buy an iMac 27” with all the trimmings for about $500 and now it is hard to find one less than $1,200 to $1,500.
I haven't been able to find Kraft tartar sauce anywhere for months now. Empty shelf space everywhere I look.
There was just a side discussion going over on the hurricane thread about the Three Gorges Dam and how close it is, or may be, to rupturing and what will happen when it blows..
The consensus was to stock up on as much food as you can because when people realize whats going to happen to the world food supply, prices are going to go through the roof.
I would also suggest other items like meds, OTC stuff, medical supplies, toiletries, automotive parts , tools, electrical stuff, spare parts, just as a few examples.
Theres no knowing what would end up in short supply when something that catastrophic happens.
And aside from that, theres the election coming up and God knows what the dems have in mind for THAT.
And then, if you dont need your supplies for either of those two events, theres always winter youll be ready for.
Its hard to lose by prepping now when we have things and supply lines are open.
And BTW, I have noticed that many items in stores are still not well stocked. There is TP available, but canned goods and baking supplies are seriously low.
And try to find quart size canning jars. Nope. The shelves in two places I expected to see stocked were stripped bare. All that were left were the 1/2 pints and jelly jars.
Second sentence of second paragraph is brilliant.I have said
the exact same thing a dozen times in virtually the same words. GMTA
Seriously?
Where has this guy been?
The food stores have consistently had empty shelves for the first time ever, thanks to this fake panic.
Which is exactly what scares me, being like the USSR.
