Empty shelves in American stores less than 100 days before the election
NOQ Report ^ | July 31, 2020 | Gary Gindler

<...>

Many Americans are well aware that in their cities, the power belongs not just to leftists, not only to outspoken communists but also fanatics, ideological whackos with ideas of the world revolution. What will American citizens do? They, in fact, have already done, and have already decided this.

America has gorged its fill of decapitated and mutilated statues, looting and marauding left-wing barbarians, and demands the restoration of order. Democrats already seem to know who won this year’s election, and the pathetic attempt to revolutionize America is simply an instinctive collective reaction of leftism to its future loss. But what can act as a precise, objective measure of this loss?

Go to many stores in America, and you will see empty shelves. The situation is reminiscent of empty store shelves in the Soviet Union. Of course, this does not apply to clothe or food stores – the shelves there are packed to capacity as if nothing were happening.

In America, only gun shops have empty shelves.

Scarcity is a word practically unknown to the Americans, but well known to everyone who lived behind the Iron Curtain. Now there is a deficit in America too – supply does not keep pace with demand for firearms. In the first half of this year, weapons sales grew 80% compared to the first half of 2019, with about half of these purchases made by first-time buyers.

Most importantly, women have made a record number of gun purchases this year.

In most places you may buy mace, pepper spray, tasers and big stores like Walmart and amazon offer fine products this afternoon on the web. Check what’s best for your needs ( and if a firearm might be better) and of course your local laws

Interesting about the tartar sauce. I use a lot and it was always out of stock as I put together my monthly order. Last month’s order included it and it was finally in stock.

Another one which finally became available is alfredo sauce.

” ’d love figure out how to get her drinking something else “

Just throwing this out...

Buy some wine yeast and put it in to a fruit juice and drink it as soon as it’s fizzy in a few days (there won’t be noticeable alcohol content then).
Any fruit she especially likes?

Very simple process and you can get all details you want at any wine-making shop.

I would also suggest other items like meds, OTC stuff, medical supplies, toiletries, automotive parts , tools, electrical stuff, spare parts, just as a few examples.

There’s no knowing what would end up in short supply when something that catastrophic happens.

And aside from that, there’s the election coming up and God knows what the dems have in mind for THAT.

And then, if you don’t need your supplies for either of those two events, there’s always winter you’ll be ready for.

It’s hard to lose by prepping now when we have things and supply lines are open.

And BTW, I have noticed that many items in stores are still not well stocked. There is TP available, but canned goods and baking supplies are seriously low.

And try to find quart size canning jars. Nope. The shelves in two places I expected to see stocked were stripped bare. All that were left were the 1/2 pints and jelly jars.

I was out shopping today. The one thing I cannot find anywhere is rubbing alcohol.

One of the first thing I bought when I heard about covid was 91% isopropyl alcohol; the large bottle at Dollar General.

They have been out since.

I found a small bottle at Rite Aid today.

Not that I use it for covid exclusively. I use it for many projects.

I carry hand sanitizer to wipe off shopping-cart handles, and to use after I’ve been in a store - it’s kind of hard to find soap and water, in those situations.

(Though, I must say, in recent weeks the grocery and other stores around here have been very good about offering sanitizers/wipes as you enter or leave the stores. Some of them have people outside wiping off the carts as they are returned.)

Lots of great flavors...natural.

Even tonic!

There won’t be a noticeable amount of alcohol in it. Takes weeks, and the addition of a LOT of sugar to make a wine.
There will be some alcohol produced but it’s ‘nothing’ = it’s not a significant factor.

Might try that, too. I think it’s that weird chemical taste she likes, though.

If you are shooting that much ammo, you are probably going to end up dead sooner or later as the odds are always in favor of the House.

I'm going to die, no doubt. I'm hoping it's complications of diabetes, Type II.

Prepper Ping - Three Gorges Dam, China- at risk, and has already deformed

metmom :" There was just a side discussion going over on the hurricane thread about the Three Gorges Dam
and how close it is, or may be, to rupturing and what will happen when it blows.

The consensus was to stock up on as much food as you can because when people realize what’s going to happen to the world food supply,
prices are going to go through the roof."

News Source : https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2020/07/frightening-china-admits-three-gorges-dam-moved-ignores-numerous-prior-reports-says-just-happened-last-weekend/
By Joe Hoft
Published July 22, 2020

China’s massive Three Gorges Dam is at risk of blowing, putting 400 million people at risk. (Emphasis by news source)
The problem is that China once claimed the dam would withstand a 10,000 year flood, then a 1,000 year flood and now only a 100 year flood.
Then in 2018 it was reported online that pictures show that the Three Gorges Dam has moved .

”An expert on the region’s food supply, Geoff Quartermaine Bastin, provided this analysis
regarding the impact on the world’s food supply should the massive dam break :
“The collapse of the TGD would destroy all the cropland and livestock downstream,
destroy major cities such as Wuhan and could threaten Shanghai.
It would affect the Grand Canal systems and so spill over into the Yellow River Region.
I’m not going to quantify the damage, it’s very clear that the collapse would be catastrophic.”

MY COMMENT :
China is already known to have insufficient agriculture resources to support its own population.
It is already an agriculture and livestock importer with food stuffs such as pork, beef, soybeans, wheat, grains, etc.
If the Three Gorges Dam (2.7 Kilometers long) was to collapse, there would be total devastation downstream
including China's 'Food Belt' which is comparable to the food production of our California and mid-West grain belt.

Be aware of local problems, as well as global issues!
Also, stay up to date on current atmospheric conditions in the Caribbean where a tropical storm
has already become a CAT 1 Hurricane .
Employ the OODA loop.

Seriously?

Where has this guy been?

The food stores have consistently had empty shelves for the first time ever, thanks to this fake panic.

Which is exactly what scares me, being like the USSR.

In my view, those who think they need hundreds or even thousands of rounds of ammo ought to take a close look at their situation. Why live where one may need that much? I have 6 rounds in my revolver and that probably 6 rounds more then I’ll ever have to actually use in a self defense situation.
