St. Louis prosecutor Kim Gardner justifiably got a lot of criticism for filing charges against Mark and Patricia McCloskey for displaying guns to defend themselves and their property.
Given her political leanings, it seemed a completely political move on her part.
But perhaps she should have been holding up a mirror to herself and keeping her own house in order.
According to reports by KMOV4, she allegedly took several trips that she failed to disclose including to Portugal, Houston, Selma and New Haven, despite the law requiring that they be disclosed...

There are so many smart people in the various minority communities. Instead of them, we seem to get radicalism and incompetence.
What she did is against the law I am pretty sure.

The smart members of those minority communities have probably found they have good opportunities outside the political sphere. Which might explain the mess we’re currently in.
Tonight on Hannity, McCloskey stated that yesterday he received films from the police showing numerous guns, including an AK-47 in the crowd of rioters.
He also stated that he saw these weapons while they were verbally threatening his life.
But no arrests of the rioters with guns!!!!

I think you are exactly correct. If they went into politics and voiced views contrary to those of the radical left, they would be ostracized and attacked. Who wants that?

The smart people, for most part, in every facet of life want nothing to do with politics. Does anyone actually beleive the 535 currently in congress are the smartest in this nation? Or even in the top 50 percentile for that matter.
The best of us simply want to pursue happiness with family and/or career and be left alone. That is exactly how we end up with the clown show in every level of government.
My theory is that any politician who has to rely solely on big money donations to win elections is probably so unqualified that they will have many screw ups on their record for people to point too.
