Would you look at that! Apparently there's been quite a handful of under-the-radar donations or political investments made by progressive groups that now see DA's squaring up in the clash against America's police forces, mostly calling for all sorts of reforms.
And much to a criminal's enjoyment, these reforms might end up in lower counts of incarcerations and prosecutions. Granted, some petty crimes surely don't require jail-time, but this has Americans on the side of law and order feeling like they're walking into a criminal free for all with their cities, feeling like their prosecutors are working against the good people and standing up for the bad people.

Maybe Q can point people to some aspects of both Federal and Civil Law pertaining to citizens rights, and legal grounds by which individuals may legally respond. As a private citizen what are the legal justifications that allow citizens arrest, or to shoot on sight in cases of rioting, etc.?
District Attorneys have legal responsibility to protect and uphold the law. Release of law breakers who immediately return to the same kind activities that endanger people and/or property should trigger a Recall, or arrest of DAs or even the mayor and governor....
Just as soldiers in WWII Germany followed illegal orders, police chiefs may find themselves held in the courts accountable for standing down on political grounds by civil leadership who should also be charged with criminal intent - the any reasonable man would know the outcome (over and over) the same protest and riot cycle these leaders called mostly peaceful....
Until the Democrats are held accountable for engaging in riot politics, either the feds arrest them or unknown citizens issue more than two On Pain of Death penalty judgments then it will end out of fear knowing the consequences of their actions is resulting in death. This applies equally to rioters.
500 cities and it takes a couple concerned citizens acting for the good of many by their lone sacrifices.
Scare them into law abiding political leaders.
ESPN might even consider it blood sport and make pleas.
