In May we reported on our concerns with contact tracing and our loss of freedom as a result of this practice. We reported that contact tracers will track you and tell you what you can and cannot do. You will be a puppet of the state. You must do what they say for the greater good. Freedom will be lost forever.
We reported that Democrat states were promoting the idea of “contact tracing” and when you realize what it is, you will think you are living in Orwell’s 1984.
Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot cheered the news that Chicago was hiring 600 tracers to track its citizens using the coronavirus as the excuse. We then shared an excellent video (which has now been taken down by YouTube) that explained the madness behind contact tracing. In the video the following points were made:
1. Of course John Hopkins offers contact tracer training (connected to the scary overboard coronavirus chart)
2. Based on you coming in contact with a person who has COVID-19 you will be placed in total isolation for 10 days
3. If you have no way of not sharing a bathroom you will need to be isolated
4. If you are quarantined you will be isolated for 14 days 5. Contact tracer will take care of your kids but you cannot leave your house
6. If you eat at a restaurant and someone was found with COVID you will be quarantined
7. Big government will video conference you and review your place to make sure you are isolated
8. If you get it your family will have to be quarantined for 14 days and completely isolated
9. If you were on a train, at work or in a restaurant then everyone near you will have...

Hard to avoid the evidence isn’t it? The timing of Mr. Herman’s infection, sickness and death is just too precise and to frequent to be coincidental. I’m not running for cover in a panic but doing what is reasonable to avoid getting sick. We are at the edge of the vulnerable age, no need to tempt fate.
Yes, it seems to spread quite well and all the more so since we have zero immunity to it from the outset, perhaps more now than then but still it is new.
I have no doubt it is being used as a political weapon just as I believe it is a biological weapon targeted at the US. Is there any other reason that we have a fraction of the world population and a disproportionate number of the cases and deaths? Fact is though that it is here and we have to deal with it and we are not very well because we can’t even unite to save our own lives.

Your phone, if you have wifi or Bluetooth turned on, is constantly broadcasting to any other phone or device nearby that has wifi or Bluetooth enabled. These broadcasts contain a unique identifier that could be used to track your phone (Bluetooth ID, or MAC address), even if you have tracking turned off on your own phone. I think Apple fixed this issue with more modern iphones by randomizing the MAC address every so often, but older iphones and Androids may still be vulnerable, and the Bluetooth ID is still unique anyway, so that’s another vector that could be used.
Yup. Too many folks spend way too much time pounding square pegs into round holes just to make things work for them mentally. Most often a cigar is just a cigar.
Contact tracing, this late in the game, is beyond useless. Heck, by the time we realized it was here it was already too late.
Contact tracing, much beyond patient zero, is a fools errand.
I haven’t been able to find my emergency tracfone for 5 months. . .maybe there is a reason. Have a landline.

Do you have any evidence that a particular app in widespread use is actually collecting any of that data? There’s no reason to have Bluetooth turned on unless you’re actively using it. Really, same goes for WiFi. Just another battery hog. But assuming they’re on, who’s actually listening and using it for anything?
Again, typically when some bad actor comes out and collects that kind of data, privacy advocates find out pretty fast (by monitoring all incoming/outgoing communications on their devices) and go nuts about it.
So if you have family and friends who are very vulnerable to COVID-19 and someone you spent time with tested positive, you wouldn’t want to know about that? You’re okay with not knowing, contracting it, and spreading it to people you’re close to who could die from it?
I would really prefer a phone call letting me know that someone I was recently spending time with tested positive. If not from that person, then from an anonymous contact tracer is fine also. But that way I know to stay away from people who might die if they get this thing.

This needs to be made readily available over the counter.
They cannot do contact tracing effectively until they have quick turn around test. The results in SC takes two to three weeks. If they cannot get testing manage correctly what makes people they can manage contact tracing.
Consider the source it is fear article to scare people.
This is why a LOT of Chinese people got rid of their cell phones during this pandemic.

The point is whether or not the practice is dissolved once the spread is controlled, and how the data gets used.

Aluminum foil works well.
Wrap it well and test it with someone at home to see if the signal gets through.
I did that and the foil definitely helped.
I like to have my phone with me for emergencies, but do not want someone
tracking every move I make.
I am also using cash and not shoppers cards when shopping.
Yes, I know there’s video surveillance everywhere, but there’s no proof of me being near a sick person without the cell phone data.
Besides, at the very least, if they want to track me so bad, they can earn it. They are going to have to work at finding me.
Oh there’s plenty about locking people up and yes, taking children from the home “if needed.”
Testing is not optional. A husband and wife were given ankle braclets and ordered to stay home because they declined to sign the documents saying they would not leave their home based on the wording, which made it sound like they wouldn’t even leave to go to the hospital.
You lose your rights. If you have to share a household restroom with others, you’ll be rehoused. That’s not your choice. You WILL be rehoused. If it is deemed “necessary” to take your children from your home to “protect them” they will do it.
You can be quarantined repeatedly. First you were exposed at point A, quarantined, and then someone else you had lunch with tested positive (with faulty tests) and you’re quarantined again. You are quarantined until they say you can leave.
In the UK, someone in isolation “got away” and they want after them, prosecution etc.
Yet.
We’re already living the beginnings of 1984.
If you think they are going to pass up such an ideal opportunity, guess again.
Do you REALLY think that all this lockdown and stuff is because they are concerned about our health? That the politicians have OUR best interests at heart?
The fact of the matter is, this late in the “crisis”, you have probably already been near someone who had it. Add in those one or two removed that came in contact with someone who had it, and most certainly you have ran into one of them.
Essentially, this late, you might as well just have the tracers start in the A’s and call everyone in the phone book.
And at the end of the day, what did it accomplish? Aside from forcing people who are perfectly fine to quarantine?
Unless this is the black death, all of this is a fools errand. And if this was the black death you probably would not have anyone available to do the tracing anyway.
