After spending weeks demanding Attorney General Barr testify about the federal response to recent protests across America, House Democrats today made clear what they actually wanted was to testify themselves -- and simply let AG Barr watch and listen.
Time and again over the day-long hearing, Democrats phrased their comments ostensibly as questions, but then objected when Barr attempted answering.
"Reclaiming my time" became a theme early into the contentious proceedings.
When Barr began balking at being barred from speaking, Rep. Greg Stanton reassured the attorney general that "'You'll have a chance to comment after your testimony is over today."

It was, every rat spent thier time attacking Barr/Trump and made damn sure he didn’t get a chance to respond. I noted the most of the rats found a way to push mail voting into the proceedings. All in all a disgusting display of little children playing with power tools.
Everything else, including the faked car wreck with Nadler, and all the questions, where they didn't let him answer, were designed to wear him down, and get him to make that commitment at the end.
I would love to know what went thru Barr’s mind as these heinous dems were berating him, especially the women. It was disgusting.
If I were Mr. Barr, I’d start out by asking what the penalty is for telling a intentional lie in these proceedings. Next I’d stand up, announce that every single question asked by a demonrat was prefaced by an outright lie, for example “peaceful protest”. Flip them the bird and walk out. It would make every newscast.
He should leave. Disrespect is not allowed in these proceedings and he has every right to get up and walk out.
I got a kick out of Nadler berating others for not wearing a mask, while not wearing a mask.
