Police have identified an armed protester who was shot and killed by a person who had driven into a crowd at a demonstration against police violence in the Texas capital.
Austin Police Chief Brian Manley said Garrett Foster, 28, was shot and killed Saturday night as demonstrators marched through downtown Austin.
Manley said a vehicle turned onto the block where protesters stood and honked its horn. Police declined to say why the driver was there at that time or whether his intent was nefarious.
Witness Michael Capochiano told the Austin American-Statesman that the car speed through the protesters before it apparently hit an orange barrier and stopped.
In the video that was streamed live on Facebook, a car can be heard honking before several shots ring out and protesters start screaming and scattering. Police can then be seen tending to someone lying in the street. Video of the shooting below:

Here is another camera angle of the car hurriedly turning right, stopping so as NOT TO HIT ANYONE and then blowing the horn which is when the group started banging on his car, it was obviously not an attempt to hit anyone, nobody was hit and it was just another BLM/Antifa mob trying to bully someone in a car.

Manley also said the driver and several witnesses told police Foster approached the driver’s side window of the vehicle and pointed an assault rifle at the driver.
The driver said they shot Foster and drove off, police said.
Manley said the driver called 911 and reported the incident. That person was taken into custody but later released. The driver’s name wasn’t immediately released.
The mainstream media are making it sound like the driver attacked without justification. Calling him a murderer. Since the actual truth doesn’t fit the mainstream media narrative, it gets buried. Further proof that the mainstream media do not care about actual news or truth. Only what creates panic and furthers their divisiveness in America.

As though the driver has some obligation to hold fire until he's been shot.
The driver has been released, so its pretty clear the cops figured this out.

Egregious lying and distortion.
The driver had the right to drive off to save his life. If anyone of the rioters was in front of the car, they have lost their right to live by attacking the man in the car. The driver is morally and ethically innocent, and ALL the rioters are guilty of assault and murder.
