When former Sen. Chris Dodd, a member of Joe Biden’s vice presidential search committee, recently asked Kamala Harris about her ambush on Biden in the first Democratic debate, Dodd was stunned by her response. “She laughed and said, ‘that’s politics.’ She had no remorse,” Dodd told a longtime Biden supporter and donor, who relayed the exchange to POLITICO on condition of anonymity.
“Dodd felt it was a gimmick, that it was cheap,” the donor said. The person added that Dodd’s concerns about Harris were so deep that he's helped elevate California Rep. Karen Bass during the vetting process, urging Biden to pick her because “she’s a loyal No. 2. And that’s what Biden really wants.” Through an aide, Dodd declined to comment. Advisers to Harris also declined to comment.

It seems vaguely Stalinist. On the one hand, one must be willing to do whatever it takes — You must be ruthless — for the good of the party. On the other hand, if an opponent rises up, then you are in trouble. Explaining that your past actions were simply “politics” done for the good of the party will not help you.

She’s ineligible. Plus, she knows it ( having purged her facts from the internet). And she’s got dirty linens that will lose Biden millions of votes. But even setting everything else aside, she would add zero electoral votes for him. Biden desperately needs somebody who has a chance of helping his candidacy. His puppetmeister will have him pick someone Who’s popular ( Harris definitely is not) and who can deliver him at least a state he’d otherwise lose.
Why was Dodd “stunned”? Could it be because the Dem rule of thumb is that you only do “politics” do Repubs, never fellow Dems?

Three Nationality Harris was born a Jamaican national from her father, an Indian national from her mother and a US citizen only by accident of geography.

Natural born citizens are naturally citizens because they are born her of citizen parents and have only ONE nationality.

Natural born in 1787 meant that the father had to be citizen of the country. There was British statutory law that specified the meaning of natural born.
