The picture painted by the writer here is wildly exaggerated.

But I’m sure hotels are empty. The losses should amount to a massive tax write-off, however.

It seemed very exaggerated to me, too.
Here in the near suburbs, things are getting busier every day.

The writer, "Sundance", is beyond wild exaggeration and at least to a lay person appears hysterically incoherent.

This from Sundance's article:
"From what I can tell the DC mayor has targeted her closures in a manner as to inflict the maximum damage on Trump properties and holdings.
"For the first time in my life I’m not sure I want President Trump to win another term."
