The death of Congressman and civil rights icon John Lewis, coming as it has amidst urban riots in Democrat-run cities following the murder of George Floyd by a deranged cop in a Democrat-run city offer the Democrats another opportunity for a Paul Wellstone-type funeral, a somber event to be transformed into a political rally in an election year.

The services for John Lewis threaten to be similarly exploited as Democrats believe that funerals and crises are terrible things to waste. The funeral for Lewis won’t be so much about honoring Lewis as it will be about sticking it to Trump for his alleged racism and for stoking the fires of racial unrest in our inner cities, the same inner cities he is trying to rebuild with opportunity zones fighting liberal urban decay, prison reform freeing the young black men Joe Biden pushed into prison, and encouraging the freeing of blacks from bad schools through school vouchers and choice.

Donald Trump seems to have anticipated that funeral and has taken some of the steam out of it with his cost-free half masting of the flag. And yes, JL was in the old time tradition of the Democrats in promoting genocide around the edges by free and easy abortion in the black communities. DC should be depopulated (iow, eliminate the "no representation" demagague BS) and housing for the 535 congresscritters and 9 SCOTUS. The rest of the city should be reserved for gubmint and museum construction, embassies and consulates, and hotels. The House should be limited to 3 terms (no grandfather clause, no "only had 10 months of previous term" BS), Senate to 1 term.
John Lewis was the first civil rights leader to kick white people out of his organization (”Snick” SNCC)... He started the divisions that Panthers would later milk for the misery we see in today’s twisted ‘civil rights’ movement.
