A Seattle police officer shared with me a heartbreaking letter explaining why they are broken after so many years protecting the public.
The letter is long. Its important you read it all.
This is an officer who has committed much of their adult life to serving a community that, right now, is doing little to support police. This officer is broken due to recent experiences as activists demonize cops and the Seattle City Council pushes to defund the department by 50%.
This is an officer you dont want to lose.
Please read this letter and commit to no longer being the silent majority. Instead, get inspired to be a vocal majority to stand up for this officer. There isnt much time left.

More screams than any accountability.

Not an easy time for sure. I was just back in Long Beach CA (my home) from doing work for the USAF in FL. I thanked the officers that were working the 4th of July weekend. These are decent guys from everything I’ve seen (LB did not go feral mostly due to them and great local folk). Anyhow....
Great letter! Good find! Thanks for posting!
I am not sorry to say but it’s a job, if you don’t like it then change careers. I am not into faux hero worship just because you put on a uniform and badge.
I have sat across the bargaining table with police unions and their primary concern is more money!. If they don’t get it they run to the press with the women and children will be hurt the most whining BS.
Exactly.. We have to have each others backs when the SHTF. People here act like everything is honky dory. I should have gotten the hell out of NJ when I could have, lol.
The police are that stands between us and TEOTWAWKI. That said, if the police in any city would all take one day off, this vendetta against police would end.
Heck, they wouldnt need to take the whole day off. Four hours would do it.
Like so many other cities, Seattle doesnt get the police protection it needs, but it gets what it deserves.

Pretty damn sad... AND INFURIATING!
The Police ensure that the criminals are treated fairly.
Without the Police, criminals will be treated...harshly.
He should move over here to Tri-Cities, WA. We’d appreciate him, his service and his MISSION. Things still largely normal here, other than the masks and lockdowns.
Sad to say but the people rioting in Seattle and elsewhere don’t give a $h:+ about what that officer said. They hate this country and want to destroy it. Period.
When I wrote “people here” I was referring to people here in NJ! Heh.
Then came the politicians standing right in front of me, on the front lines, calling me a racist killer cop. Standing next [to] people who were telling us to kill ourselves, with people around them handing out rocks and bottles which were thrown at me shortly thereafter.
It is terrible to contemplate how few politicians are hanged. ― G.K. Chesterton
But perhaps we can fix that.
What is not realized is that the police are being treated like abused spouses. They are being abused mentally and physically and are told by higher ups that they just have to stand there and take it.
The time will come when the police are finally called to enforce the laws and break-up the protests, and when this happens, the collected and pent up rage these officers feel will be let loose.
You wanna see police brutality, wait till the cops are given the green light.
At that point all I have to say to the protesters is “you brought it on yourselves.”
