Monday on CNN, anchor Jake Tapper critiqued President Donald Trump’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Tapper said, “Health experts say the United States is in desperate need of a vaccine because President Trump and other leaders have so seriously mishandled any serious attempt to contain the virus within our borders. As of this afternoon, the U.S. is nearing 4 million confirmed cases in the United States, and that’s growing, almost 141,000 lives have been lost. That number is also sadly growing.
He continued, “We have already seen months of examples of what the president does at these briefings. He often downplays the threat of the virus. He frequently lies about what is really happening. ....
In a clip, Trump said, “This capacity is sufficient to allow states to conduct diagnostic testing to treat patients as well as contact tracing to contain outbreaks.”
Tapper said, “Contain what outbreaks? What outbreaks are being contained? Which ones? It was not sufficient then. And health experts say it is not sufficient today. In some parts of the country, any serious contact tracing campaign is nonexistent.

He added, “The virus is spreading because the virus is spreading. It’s not spreading because of the testing. And that brings us all to today. With nearly 141,000 Americans dead from coronavirus, and the Trump administration’s testings czar Admiral Brett Giroir admitting that testing is still not where it needs to be with long wait times continuing across the country. Yet, there is still no new presidential strategy to get us out of this spiraling crisis. This refusal to lead has a body count.”

Now the goal post has been moved to "vaccine" and so far'contact tracing' is a joke. NOT ONE WORD about the rampant civil unrest and riots going on across the country. Not one word about (for example) hundreds in Philly street block parties.
But, Jake said this is because Trump 'refuse to lead'.

His actions, including portable hospital in New York, opening the Javitts Center, forcing companies to make medical supplies, etc. saved millions of lives just in New York.

If I hang out with infected people, it’s not the president’s fault. The president is not forcing me. But if I’m a patient in a nursing home and someone orders the nursing home to take in extremely contagious folks to be housed in the same facility, then that someone is responsible.

Had the Left not succeeded in getting the mental hospitals closed down for “humanitarian” reasons in the ‘70s and ‘80s, a great many of our media talking heads would be getting therapy, not gaslighting America.
It's like California or New York thinking they're going to stop global warming inside their borders. It doesn't work that way.
A virus is not a living organism. It is an inert submicroscopic particle that attaches to cells to do its damage. It is so small compared to bacteria, that you need an electron microscope to see one of the particles.
Unlike a germs or bacteria that are living organisms and much larger in size and can crawl around and infect tissue. You still can't see them with the naked eye but you can under a regular lens microscope.
This is why masks will help stop the spread of germs and bacteria. But they are absolutely useless in stopping virus particles.
This is all fake news and Jake Tapper lies to make Trump look bad. Letting democRATic governors tell people they have to remain on forever lockdown in their homes, lose their jobs, destroy the economy, wear masks that don't stop viruses and stay 6 foot part from other people is what is causing so much suffering in peoples lives.
Labs are lying about the number of cases and deaths from Covid-19 because the government is giving medical facilities financial incentives to code everything that they treat nowadays as Covid-19. Follow the money.
