As Rep. Doug Collins, R-GA, and ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, valiantly defended President Trump against the deep state coup trying to unseat the duly elected President of the United States, the mind pondered the possibility of a Sen. Collins from Georgia defending the President on the Senate floor. Instead, we got a big business donor whom we are assured has all the boxes checked and an R next to her name. You know, someone like a Mitt Romney or a Susan Collins or a Jeff Flake.
With Collins, we would have been assured of a passionate conservative unabashedly loyal to the Trump vision of draining the swamp. Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, whom President Trump campaigned for and helped to victory over Stacey Abrams in a contested election has paid back Trump with a questionable choice in Kelly Loeffler.
Loeffler has been making all the right noises, at least until her election to the Senate in her own right is assured. After that, its anybodys guess.
Loeffler has received the endorsement and support of President Trump and the Senate Republican establishment, most likely due to the silly policy of backing an incumbent and to avoid conflict with Georgias governor in a state the Democrats covet.

Whatta joke Loeffler is.
A dilettante blonde who banged her way to big $$$.
The prototypical Marie Antoinette that the idiots in the Stupid Party think would appeal to white suburban women.
Yea right. I guess white females in Valdosta don’t count.
They could have had Collins who would be a solid guy in the corner for decades. Instead they get Murkowski with a bank account. That’s really helpful. NOT.
Other than being rich, Loeffler had no qualifications for the job. It’s BS that they governor picked her. The seat was somehow bought.
Loeffler had an “R” after her name allright. RINO! Doug Collins is going to beat her lime a drum in Nov.
Doug Collins is going to beat her lime a drum in Nov.
How would that be? Isnt it going to be Collins or her after the primary?
It’s a jungle primary on Nov. 3rd. Top two finishers in a run-off.
Collins tops Loeffler in 2nd quarter fund raising.
The RINOs will screw us either way. If Collins gets into the runoff with the Dem the RINOs will make sure the Dem wins. If Loefflet gets into the runoff either the RINOs win or the base will stay home and the Dem wins.

Thats interesting, so it will be 2 Rs and no rats competing for the Senate seat Nov 3rd?
McConnell only wants Bush League Republicans in his Senate.
I dont think democrats can vote unless they voted in the republican primary. General of course is different.
Last week I attended a Meet and Greet event that Kelli Loeffler had in Winder, GA.
The event was over in less than 45 minutes and all she spoke about were bullet point topics.
Here is my summary: Kelli Loeffler is a very tall and skinny woman with no meat on her bones, just like her politics, she has no substance to her positions. She said what people wanted to hear, but deep inside I knew she was not going to follow through with her comments. JMHO
Make no mistake, there will be a run-off for the open GA Senate seat.
In Georgia, you win an election with 50% +1. The general election is a free for all and there are really only three candidates. That makes the 50% +1 very difficult to obtain.
This whole mess will be decided by a runoff election with the top 2 candidates vying for the open Senate seat. Depending on how the general election goes this November Georgia will be the left hanging until a January runoff election is completed.
The RINOs will screw us either way. If Collins gets into the runoff with the Dem the RINOs will make sure the Dem wins. If Loeffler gets into the runoff either the RINOs win or the base will stay home and the Dem wins.
Did Loeffler take questions from the public? What was the attendance?
Did Loeffler take questions from the public? What was the attendance?
She did not take any questions. She walked up to the roughly 40 people and said ‘Hi’ from a distance with her mask on and quickly moved on. She had at least three people ushering her around the room. She had the Barrow County Sheriff, two county commissioners, and a couple of other people with her. The was a large presence of the GA State Tourism and Trade reps there.
I am actually in one of the photos at the link below. It was not a huge turnout.

Matt Lieberman, son of Joe Lieberman, is one of the Dems running against Collins and Loeffler.

I have lived in GA all my life, Collins will be our new Senator.
I can’t stand Collins. He and his campaign staffers come off as Casey Cagle pricks.
Loeffler gets my vote.
