Michelle Zymet has seen the coronavirus spread through her family.
As South Floridians eat at restaurants, shop for groceries and try to live normal lives during the pandemic, many are bringing coronavirus back home, spreading it to family members before their symptoms arise.
As many as 80% of the Broward County residents who got COVID-19 in recent weeks likely caught it from someone they live with, according to the state Department of Health.
“People need to know that even within their own families they have to social distance,” said Broward Mayor Dale Holness.
Some of the spread within South Florida households may be attributed to children and young adults who make up a growing proportion of coronavirus cases but tend not to show symptoms.
“Nowhere to run” When Dwayne Bennett tested positive, he self-isolated in his bedroom to stop the virus from racing through his Fort Lauderdale home. Still, his wife Wanda caught the virus. Bennett, 39, suffered coughs, chills and body aches. His wife has a cough, body aches and has lost her sense of smell.
So how did the virus invade their home? Bennett manages an entertainment business and came into contact with clients who later tested positive. He and his wife have a 21-year-old daughter who works from home and a 19-year-old daughter who works in a restaurant. “Yes, the kids could have brought it in. They could have been exposed but there is no telling,” he said.

The point here is that people are getting Covid 19 at home. Right in their own house or apartment. So why make everyone stay at home? 80% get covid at home...Not at work or when they are out and about shopping or what have you
Get Covid MEANING they will test positive.
Just like colds and the flu, but these tend to have symptoms in people under 50.
Can I use this as an excuse to get my wife to stop talking to me about how her day went? You know how dangerous exhaling corona can be.

Meanwhile, in Orange County (Orlando), labs are reporting 100% positive results. Elsewhere, motorcycle accident victims and gunshot victims are reported as Corona virus deaths. Texas is reporting newborns with the virus.
And the dictators are still running wild, murdering old people and issuing contradictory edicts. When is enough enough?
And they had cough. Chills. And loss of sense of smell and taste. In other words. A cold. And we are shut down. They did fine.
No!!!! Let her get it out of her system. or it will manifest in other ways. Just nod and smile. You’ll get through it.
But what is the percentage of all Broward County residents with the China Virus (or whatever the test is for)? If only 50% (which would be high), that would be, what, less than 30% of all Broward?
Media pushing hysterical statistics to scare people, trying to imply that 80% of Broward is infected...
Lockdowns cannot stop the spread of a virus and never could. They are very good, however, at stopping an economy - as intended.
Florida DoH, no longer a reliable source of info, says Broward has 37,000+ “cases”, out of a population of 1.9 million...
So very maddening is the media’s mindless acceptance of these numbers. Not an ounce of intellectual curiosity or professional integrity anywhere in the mainstream media.

Why not tell the family, “Wear a mask!” Because as we all know, masks are more powerful than Superman’s cape!
BTW - I only know two people who had the virus. Two asymptomatic people who only found out after the fact they had caught the virus in the past. Neither of the spouses caught it.
Hint: Asymptomatic people do NOT spread the virus. Those with symptoms? Yep. And if you share a house with a symptomatic person, you may well catch it. What a shock! Just like the flu, bro....
Do these people expect a disease free life? I know families whose members all came down with the ordinary flu and experienced similar symptoms, but it was never published in the newspapers.
I’ve heard of another family where only the mother tested positive, with almost no symptoms, and the other 3 adults adults never tested positive, yet the entire family was quarantined and counted as 4 cases.
My kids taught me the “smile and nod” thing. It took me a while to notice what they were doing during my lectures, but I caught on eventually.
