And when the rioters provoke an armed response, they will call Trump hitler.
That’s a very optimistic take on this. Two ways to go....restore order by means of law enforcement, or by acceding to the desires of the mob. Portlandia prefers the latter.

I saw three police charges in the videos.
The police line was thin. It should be five times that size.
Billy clubs were carried, I didn’t see any heads being bashed in. They need training from Daley’s 1968 police.
I find it very interesting that this happened after federal officers started snatching Marxist leaders off the streets and Wheeler responded by calling out President Trump.
I’ve been wondering if police chiefs would eventually get fed up with Marxist mayors enabling this insurrection / rebellion and start taking control on their own. It’s a shame more Chiefs of Police are not doing that.
When real police show up, let me know. Until then Portland can burn to the ground for all I care. Good riddance .
Trump should attribute all the uncontrolled violence on the Dems that run these cities. His sending Fed agencies in there allows the Dems to create the false narrative which the media will promote that it is Trump and the Feds who cannot control the violence and have exacerbated the problem. He might consider pulling the Feds out and send the message 24/7 that this is a Dem problem who are allowing this violence to continue unabated by supporting it and refusing to confront it.
We'll see if the local judiciary lets them out "no cash bail" and/or drops all charges - as they've been doing across the country...

Yeah, something similar happened in Seattle. Mayor got serious when the “protestors” showed up at her residence. All of a sudden, “we need to clear out the CHOP”.
I now think they’re trying to start their ‘revolution’ in Portland. If the country doesn’t want to be ruled by these Castro-type Leftists, the people better start responding.
