My view? Why does it even come up. It's history in this country. We're waaaaay beyond that time.

It's time for blacks to appreciate their ancestors and step up. Get an education....It opens doors. Stop abortion. 36% of all abortions are black...but they make up only 14% of the women who can have children.

I agree. To me this is a little like English peasants today still being upset with their Monarch over how Wat Tyler’s rebellion of 1381 was handled.

Very much water under the bridge. No one cares. There are no more peasants. The Monarchy is completely changed. Everything is different now. Why even think about that event, unless you are a historian?

I think American slavery is the same thing. It’s over. We’ve done what we could to right the wrong, and now we’re done. Very much water under the bridge as far as I’m concerned.
