Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther announced the statue of Christopher Columbus outside of city hall will be removed as soon as possible.
Ginther said the statue on the Broad Street side will be placed in storage.
“For many people in our community, the statue represents patriarchy, oppression and divisiveness. That does not represent our great city, and we will no longer live in the shadow of our ugly past,” said Mayor Ginther. “Now is the right time to replace this statue with artwork that demonstrates our enduring fight to end racism and celebrate the themes of diversity and inclusion.”
F***ing ridiculous.
Since leftists want all of these removals then they should have to pay for it. Or do they think all of theses changes are free?

My hometown, in fact, when I was young and worked close, I walked past this statue almost every day, not once thinking, ooooh he is a racist. In fact, a super nice black guy who worked with me parked in the same parking lot and on winter nights when it was almost dark, he would always wait and walk with me to my car for safety. How ridiculous this country has become. If there wasn’t division before, the lefties will make damn sure there is now.
