Yesterday, we reported that Quaker Foods caved to calls to "cancel" Aunt Jemima, and that the brand will be renamed. Now, the great-grandson of the real Aunt Jemima, Anna Short Harrington, is speaking out to express his anger and disappointment that her legacy is being erased.

I knew it would happen. I suggest putting white people on these iconic brands instead just to p*ss off the Marxist scum.
Clearly he’s a racist.
I dont blame him. Just so he realizes that these are Democrats that are erasing the memory of his g grandmother.
There is a whole wonderful story behind Aunt Jemima pancakes.

OK, is this horrible writing, or am I confused? Anna Short Harrington is the great-grandson? What is he, a tranny?
OK, so I clicked the link. The author goes on to say the great-grandson is Larnell Evans, St.
Jees, people. Learn to write!
Because that is the point really of the whole thing. To erase history and rewrite it according to ‘plan’.
It won’t work out that way; people will become so concerned about accidentally offending someone they’ll just stop publicly discussing preferred victim groups. I already see it with Indians; they’ve been removed from casual public discussion (they’ve been erased from public consciousness).
They’re destroying the achievements, and history of all the people of color who broke those barriers years ago. They’re desecrating the memories of these people. By promoting their own history, they do so at the expense of someone else’s.
“If you ain’t eat’n Wham
you ain’t eat’n Ham”
Must suck to be her or Frank L. White or these others being erased by white progressives 100 years later.
I would be upset too.
I think the right course of actions is to tell her story. I am very impressed with her story. She proves no matter what background in life you come from you can be successful in America. She is an American Success story that needs to be told. She should make a movie about her.
Just like George Washington Carver who save the South with peanuts.
Confusion over. The article goes on to say Anna was the SECOND Aunt Jemima.
Still further proof. Bloggers are terrible writers.
we never had Aunt Jemima or any name brands....we wuz poor....we had the cheapest store variety my mom could afford....sometimes,she just made her own syrup.....
I caught that too. Everyone wants a piece of that action.
don’t blame him?.....all he wants is a payoff....
Hoping to hear him loud and clear. Make the little bitches cry.
Just wait, before to long they will be bitching there are no blacks represented in product labeling due to racism.
The brand name was popular, and not because of the name. People bought the products because it made damned good pancakes and waffles.I don’t think they gave a rat’s ass about the name. They just recognized it and bought it.
