This Monument across the street from the State House in Boston MA was recently defaced and vandalized by antifa rioters. Evidently THESE Black Lives, given in the cause of the Union, don't matter.

Unfortunately, Admiral Farragut checks off all the boxes. So too bad for him.

And here’s the really sad part. If Admiral Farragut had worn a red armband - and had he crossed-dressed even occasionally - he probably would have been alright.
It’s a statue of a dead white guy. They all look alike—it has to come down. Who bothers to take the time to read history?
I wonder when the statue commemorating the flag raising after 9/11 will have to come down. Remember they wanted to make it more “diverse”?
More proof that this isn’t about black oppression. Admiral Farragut was a Union naval officer who played a key role in defeating the South.
This is a prime example of the poor education these kids are receiving, both black and white. I’ll bet if you gathered a bunch of them together and ask them what they know about the civil war the answers would be laughable.
I'll bet if you gathered any random group of people--protesters or not, young or old, city or suburban or rural, 90% of their answers about the Civil War would be laughable. People by and large don't know and don't care. History was a class they had to take in high school and just like calculating the area of a circle or the proper use of a semicolon, it was forgotten as soon as the test ended.
Wonder when Ken Burns is going to edit his Masterpiece (no sarcasm intended..it’s that good) to remove all comments by Shelby Foote.
Farragut was a Southerner (born in Tennessee) who fought for the Union.
