According to a Washington Post analysis of new data from the U.S. Census Bureau out last week, 34 out of 100 Americans reported symptoms of anxiety, depression, or both in the most alarming numbers to date on the status of the nations psyche amid the pandemic over the novel Wuhan coronavirus. Twenty were recorded to show symptoms of each, 10 exhibited signs of anxiety alone, and 4 possessed symptoms of just depression...These new findings, the Post reported, show a dramatic shift in the nations psychic well-being from pre-pandemic times with the percentage of those suffering from spiritual distress having doubled from the census survey in 2014.

Liberals are about 21% of the population.
34%?
Mask wearers. There are few things as depressing as feeling like a trussed up prisoner of war.
1 out of 3 OMG that worries me. But what can one do. Just give up I guess. Where’s my valium? Maybe by the vodka? Here kitty kitty kitty.
Thats funny.
Driving 100-300 miles a day in the San Francisco Bay Area and seeing only 20% of the vehicles on the road makes it tough to stay up but, I am starting to look at it as an advantage because I always seem to do well even in bleak times.
+1
This was the absolute worst response ever....
I know so many people who are out of jobs or lost their business.
Unreal.
And these stupid skcuF think I am going to some restaurant that has barriers and a bunch of zombies with masks and gloves on like they are in a morgue?
Skip that...
That is the only point of continuing this contrived horse Shiite.
It’s so effin stupid.
Everywhere I go people are openly saying it and they aren’t smiling when they utter the words.
There is some real contempt for this asinine state of the state...
i hope its stupid liberals so they off themselves..

But it isn’t just liberals and it isn’t just people who don’t have God in their lives or don’t have their lives together in other ways who are becoming depressed.
I have an elderly relative who has not been afraid of the virus and is trying to live her life as best she can. She has been all along going to the grocery store a lot, just to get out, and is eating out a lot now she can do so in her state. She is a Trump voter, as are her friends.
But she is depressed because here friends are afraid to go out. She goes out to eat alone. She can’t go on the day trips run by the senior center that she liked because there are none. She can’t go to the senior exercise center because it isn’t open. Church is virtually empty and she has a hard time breathing through a mask.
This is not a woman with mental or emotional problems—at last not a history of them anyway. She is slowly developing them.
“People have been isolated for 3 months now. How is this a shock?”
How many people do you know who have spent that long, or longer, in a combat zone?
I can’t—I refuse—to believe that Americans are such pussies that they collapse into anxiety and depression just because they had to hang around the house for three months.
I would believe that of the snowflakes, those whom Archbishop Vigano calls “the children of darkness,” sure, but not of good Americans.
By applying it to all Americans, the news is lying in support of an evil narrative, which makes it fake news.
Fake news is a term that is dear to my heart. I spent around 25 years trying, largely without success, to explain to people, to convince, that the media have been lying constantly. Then President Trump came out with the term “fake news,” and all was clear. The explanation was made once and for all time. Now everybody knows what you mean right away, no explanation required. Love it.
