The same league that pushed back and punished Colin Kaepernick for his peaceful protest against police brutality and social injustice now wants to join in and help the same cause.

I gave up on the NFL when they couldn’t decide which country they were the national league of.
Might as well add to that black ownership, black advertisers, and black-owned sports bars.
Simple fix: don’t televise whatever crap goes down during the anthem.
Cut to commercial for several minutes during the anthem. Or better yet, televise a pre-taped set of visual slides that salute the flag while the anthem is played, maybe with live audio.
Include some pre-produced slides during the anthem minutes that celebrate the good things the team does for the community, in addition to the flag and military images.
Case closed when you take away the TV audience for the extremists. Boo, as appropriate, the instigators in the stadium after the anthem is over. Known as “feedback”

I only learned about KC winning it a day after, on FR. When I boycott, I boycott and put my money where my mouth is unlike some Freepers.
I watched last year for the first year in a while but after the denver players said “if you’re not with us, you’re against us” they lost me again.
Since I love the sport so much perhaps as long as my team doesn’t say anything stupid I’ll watch.
I enjoy few things and that one hurt for 2 years!! :)
There was a time when I never missed a game on TV. That time has gone the way of the buffalo.
If players take a knee prior to the game...it will only ensure that I will continue to have Sundays and Thursdays for myself and my family.
Life is good without the NFL.
Ditto for the the Thugs in the NBA.

The days of playing the National Anthem anywhere are coming to an end.
Just as the Left intended when this whole thing started.
No doubt this will eventually spread to progressive fans in attendance in the seats who will not stand for the anthem.They can either play it in spite of the idiots or just play it on a separate trac for fans viewing the game on the tube.

Guess we’ll know August 13th if there’s still an NFL if the games actually take place. Are there any NFL stadiums outside of liberal dominated big cities that actually have a shot of allowing fans to attend?
At the game the anthem should be played but the network broadcasts should start after the anthem..
I think it is high time for a pro football league to rival the NFL. They have become more concerned about politics than they are about playing football. Before you know it, the NFL will require potential draftees to file political position papers with the league before being drafted. And you must be willing to sell your soul to Satan in order to be eligible for draft.
Yes, I agree the NFL should embrace change - take their income from ads on media, TV contracts, attendance, seat licenses, parking, food, merchandise, and ESPN and multiply by 0.2.
