Rev. Mariann Edgar Budde expressed her outrage toward President Donald Trump after Trump used her Washington D.C. St. John’s Episcopal Church for a photo op following his address to the nation, telling CNN’s Anderson Cooper, “I just can’t believe what my eyes have seen tonight.” Budde and other members of the church didn’t know Trump would visit their church until they saw it on the news, they said. Budde ripped Trump for his “abused of sacred symbols” and was “outraged” that her church was used for political gain.

Episcopal Church is not so much a church anymore as it is a political party. An episcopal service on Sunday is the loneliest place in town. Their pews have been abandoned in the last few decades as they converted to a political party

As I noted on another thread, I consider the "the Episcopalian Church was once noble and godly, but now they've lost their way" talking point to be on par with the "Democrats used to be honorable and patriotic and the conservative party in America until they changed" argument.
There were (and STILL are, though difficult to find) decent Christian and God-fearing members of that church, as well as clergy, but the Episcopalian church OVERALL has been rotten since Day One.

Sorry, Episcopalian friends, but Episcopal Church USA and its sister Church of England have sold out Christianity for secular prestige since, well, forever.
Her cohort, the Bishop in Maryland, just finished a seven year sentence in prison for DUI and killing a man on a bike. She would have gotten out earlier but her parole officer said she showed no remorse.
Did this twit mention how she felt about the church being burned?

The Episcopalian Church, aside from a conservative splinter group of real Christians is hardly a Christian Church at all anymore.

Last Christmas Eve I attended a service at an Episcopal church I had not been to in years. It was very strange in that there were quit a few gay couples in attendance. In the pew in front of me there was a couple that had an adopted daughter. I was doing my best not to be judgmental, but probably didn’t do a great job at it. Anyway things have definitely changed.
OK. I say let the savages burn the damn church down.

Curfew was 7pm. The “protesters” were in the park at 7pm so they got moved out.
