Rev. Mariann Edgar Budde expressed her outrage toward President Donald Trump after Trump used her Washington D.C. St. John’s Episcopal Church for a photo op following his address to the nation, telling CNN’s Anderson Cooper, “I just can’t believe what my eyes have seen tonight.” Budde and other members of the church didn’t know Trump would visit their church until they saw it on the news, they said. Budde ripped Trump for his “abused of sacred symbols” and was “outraged” that her church was used for political gain.

Mariann Edgar Budde, what a dope. I hate to say it but so many churches, including Catholics and Lutherans, are complicit in the destruction that is going on right now, because of their open borders policy and SJW position on everything.
The church just completed a huge renovation and there are many Trump supporters in the membership.the Bishop would be wise to keep her head down politically.
Now, I don’t feel so bad the church burned down.

None of my Catholic Pastors would have stated it that way in a serious discussion. The church belongs first to God, then to the parish, as far as I know. It’s not like some corner store.
