The Minneapolis police officer seen kneeling on the neck of an unarmed black man heard saying “I can’t breathe” multiple times before he died — has packed up and left his home. He remains free to travel pending arrest but neighbors said they didn’t even know Derek Chauvin was a cop.
“We thought he was a realtor,” the neighbors of the embattled and fired Minneapolis Police veteran said.
Could have had locker at station and changed there.

Ok, so in the video the police SUV had a license plate that written POLICE this is peculiar. Most metro or city units have a blue or yellow plates with individual lettering or numbers. Our city units have a small star on the side with a 5 digit number. Anybody?

Between the undesirables like the media and assorted rioters knowing where to find him, it would be stupid of him to stay at home, especially if he’s had to turn in his firearms.
Not all departments permit patrol cars to be taken home. Many police officers change from civvies to uniform in a stationhouse locker room.
