For the second night in a row, peaceful protests over the in-custody death of George Floyd quickly turned violent Wednesday night, with multiple building structures set ablaze, widespread looting, and continued rioting.
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey requested Minnesota Governor Tim Walz to deploy the Minnesota National Guard following the social unrest. Demonstrators torched multiple building structures, including an apartment complex and surrounding buildings, an AutoZone, and other retail stores. At least a dozen stores were looted and or damaged.
“That’s like five buildings on fire,” one demonstrator said while talking to Unicorn Riot News.

Another horrifying moment came when a Target store was looted by a mob of protesters on Wednesday night.
There was a video of one man down on the ground being treated by police outside of a business last night. The man was reportedly shot after trying to loot a pawn shop. Though few details have yet emerged about the murder – the first casualty linked to the riots – a number of unconfirmed reports, including from bystanders on the scene, suggest the man was shot while attempting to loot a pawn shop in the city on Wednesday night. According to Twitter user Finding Novyon two people were shot outside of Cadillac Pawn on Bloomington Avenue. Mayor Frey tweeted a plea for an end to the violence:
“Please, Minneapolis, we cannot let tragedy beget more tragedy,” the mayor’s tweet read. “The area along Lake has become unsafe. We are asking for your help in keeping the peace tonight.”
And to make matters worse, social unrest has spread to Los Angeles on Wednesday night, where “black lives matter protesters” surrounded and attacked police cars on Highway 101 in response to what was happening in Minneapolis.
It could be a long, hot summer.
Like I said, I hope they burn Minneapolis to the ground tonight. I am not worried about how far the cockroaches will scurry afterwards. They won’t make it to PA.
The DEMOCRAT Mayor of Minneapolis is responsible for inciting this violence with his sidling up to BLM activists. The DEMOCRAT Governor will do nothing to prevent more mayhem tonight.
Smart business owners wouldn’t guard their places. They would stand by with gasoline and matches ready to burn their business to the ground if the LOOTER/RIOTER folks appear. Collect the insurance payout and relocate to a better place.

More black people dying seems to be a too likely outcome of other black people acting out their rage and desire for free stuff.

If you own a business in certain neighborhoods, it’s a good idea to save your money, keep a very low inventory on site, and be ready to walk away at any time.
My wife and I raised our two kids just a few blocks from Target and Cub. We lived there for 25 years. It’s sad to see our old neighborhood go thru this. Now, everyone who can move will do so, and more and more of the houses will become poorly maintained rental property, and become an ever-increasingly dangerous part of the ghetto.
It’s NOT a murder.
